So, I've been a huge fan of musicians that have the knowledge and ability to write albums with a puzzle in mind. Like tool. And their "holy gift" masterpiece in laturalus.. Using the Fibonacci sequence of numbers to rearrange the tracks for another seamless album. I did a poor attempt with "equal balance" with the naming of the tracks to reveal a serious message. "Live each day as if it's your last because one of these days it will be" Though I'm still proud of that effort, I think I finally figured out a way to go further. Who knows how long this next Snow-E effort will take to complete, it's all in the hands of the spirit. Needless to say, I'm excited about it... I'll probably be releasing unheard material and a glitch mob tribute in the mean time.. But this project might take a year or longer.
Smoke on the Horizon
Snow-E has been hard at work, just releasing a New Original single "Hall of Solitude" now on iTunes, and a Cover Single to The Glitch Mob's (Mind of a Beast). Snow-E plans to continue to work on a full length original album, and a Tribute to the Glitch Mob's sophomore album (Love, Death, Immortality) featuring covers of
Mind of a Beast Our Demons (Ft Marissa Smedley on vocals and rhythm guitar) Skullclub I Need my memory back (Ft Marissa Smedley on vocals) Can't Kill us No set release date for these albums, but will be in mid to late 2015

Phase one
The goal of this piece is to have no solid structure, meaning, I'm breaking the song structure rule that the mainstream music industry has deemed mandatory for all songs. I'm saying good by to the idea of intro , verse , Chorus.
I'm writing a piece that has many parts and they all flow together. Starting slow and mellow and gradually progressing faster and harder hitting, without returning to a previously heard section.
I spent two nights dialing the basic tone I want to start with, and a good BPM (Beat Per Minute) to start with. Since I am breaking the rule on basic song writing formulas... I figured Id go the extra mile and do a BPM that is not a traditional BPM.I found going with a slower 88 BPM fits the feel for this Piece.
The vibe Im looking for in this one is funky yet mysterious and intelligent, with a deep almost spiritual intellectual undertone that progresses towards victorious and free flowing, while maintaining a solid consistent sound through out. (WILL BE POSTING PROGRESS SOON)
To start off I began with a simple "SMART DRUM" using a classic studio kit, and only using a bass drum, snare, and high hat.
In Garageband the new one for MAC OS and IOS has a cool feature to work in sections. so I just said... "Okay, i will build and craft this from scratch section by section" I started with 6-7 different "riffs" or pieces of Music and they all were in the Key of B.
I laid down the scratch drum track for timing and feel while I recorded my Guitar. and hit one section at a time ended up with 10 sections. a couple of which ended up being looped for future lead work.
you can see the basic structure visually below. Stay tuned, Follow me on Facebook, or Twitter to follow the progress. \m/ Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/SnowEsound Twitter: https://twitter.com/SnowEscore
CLOSE UP on my favorite part of this piece.
The Whole working file so far showing all 10 sections.

Plan of Action
GOAL: to simply write music with only 2 guitar tracks a drum track and a synth track.. or two. Simple.
#Snow-E entire collection to date is available on iTunes!!! Woop woop!
On to the Next
I have always liked a good challenge, and never like to do something the same way every time I do it.
The first two Snow-E records (Originally released as Apparatus VOL1.and VOL2.) Were my first projects using a different approach in the music writing process.
I usually would write the Music with a 6 string electric guitar, Start with a killer memorable riff, then work around that riff. With the first two Apparatus albums I decided to do something different, I set to write the music with my 4 string Bass first, not only that, but I wanted to still use the Riff concept, but I took it a step further, and tried to accomplish Odd timing, and unpredictable changes... I also wanted to create pieces of music rather than songs.
With my Noah 57 project, I went and did a punk / guitar solo route, still writing with the Bass first. but the Noah 57 album has more of the "Song" element rather than Pieces of Music.
Along my journey I found a band that set my creative mind on fire, I never EVER really liked Dance music... till I discovered The Glitch Mob, and realized that Electronic Music does not have to be DANCE music.
I began another venture in the writing process, Moving away from writing music with the Bass lines first, and started writing Electronic Music, with subtle Dance elements. then worked around the Electronic structure... Giving Birth to 2014's (Equal Balance Vol 1.) and the 3 total versions, Electronic Instrumental, Instrumental with guitars, and the full mix with Vocals.
(Hour of Æon) Followed the same writing process as (Equal Balance). after all this music has been written, I realized that I have never done any cover songs, In fact I cannot stand to learn cover songs.. Id rather Just write my own. But I fell in love with the Glitch Mob, and as a thank you to them for being an inspiration, and for hooking my nephew up with Back stage passes... I decided to do an all Progressive Rock tribute to their first album (Drink The Sea)
Which as actually gotten quite a bit of great acceptance, and Liking.
and Now we are here 2015 and The creative Juices are still flowing HARD. I have decided to experiment with Recording my next effort 100% using my iPhone. With little to No editing or mastering on the computer. I want to keep this simple, clean, and organic. i want to create a full sound with limitations. I will be using the following tools. iPhone 4s with Garageband IOS
Squire Baritone Jazzmaster,
Vox amPlug,
iRig
Skullcandy Crushers
and an Aux cable
Fun Creative Journey ahead! Looking forward to the possibilities
