Creeptober 2026
For this year's Creeptober, I wanted to pick a theme that captured the true meaning of fall. What do you mean I chose the wrong definition?
As ever, the theme is more of a suggestion than anything else; the number of directions you could take these prompts are as innumerable as the stars, and the media you use to represent them are boundless as the sea. Traditional or digital, visual or audible, written or drawn or even danced, all means of creative expression are welcome.
However, in an added twist, I've also put together a bonus palette challenge. It's entirely optional, of course, but as soon as I had the idea, I just couldn't resist. After all, I do love the color of the sky...
If you decide to take on this bonus challenge, choose one color per day to make the dominant shade of your piece. Despite the calendar layout, you can pick and choose which color you want to use each day (unless you really want to challenge yourself) (I mean, I will be, but I made the damn thing and ordered the prompts according to my personal whims, like the Web-aligned little freak I am).
Most of these are color picked out of the infamous post, but I did have to mess with it a little bit to get a good range of options. It was quite lacking in the greys, and a little too heavy on the blue and pure-black areas.
