Sometimes I think I forget what I am sending into the universe.... I have to keep sending love... Love. Love. Love. Goodness. Kindness. Empathy. That is what the world so badly needs right now. Keep sending it. Keep manifesting love by spreading it everywhere you go. Hug your loved ones closer than ever before, and be gentler to those who are rude to you in public, as we are all fighting a battle behind closed doors.
Consider this post charged with hugs love and light coming your way ✨️🫶🌟🫧🥰🫰

Topaz's Herb Mix for Combating Depression
With the cold months quickly approaching, many of us are expecting that drop in mood that often comes with it. As a bipolar witch, I experience a depressive episode this time of year almost like clockwork. Here I have created a list of herbs that aid you through some of the symptoms of a depressive episode.
DISCLAIMER: Witchcraft is NOT a replacement for medical intervention. This spell is NOT a substitute for medical care and is meant to be used IN TANDEM with therapy and psychiatry. If you or someone you know needs help or is experiencing thoughts of suicide, please ask for help or call your state or country's suicide hotline. (In America, that number is 988. If you are transgender, you can also contact Trans Lifeline.)
That being said, not everyone experiences depressive episodes the same way. Some will experience all of these symptoms, some will only experience a few. Feel free to take what you need and leave what you don't.
If you experience:
depressed mood -> Add vanilla to lift your spirits
diminished interest or pleasure -> Add dried orange rind to promote creativity and happiness
poor appetite or over appetite -> Add chamomile for balance
insomnia or hypersomnia -> Add lavender for help falling asleep, or peppermint for wakefulness
sluggishness, fatigue or loss of energy -> Add oregano to alleviate physical or spiritual exhaustion
feelings of worthlessness or excessive/inappropriate guilt -> Add rose petals for self love
inability to think or concentrate/indecisiveness -> Add cooking sage (not the same as white sage) for mental clarity
Finally, add calendula for optimism, healing, and renewal
You might also add crystals of your choice (such as rose quartz for self love, or citrine for joy and optimism) or a petition in the form of a positive affirmation.
Ways you can use this mix:
put it in a sachet and put it under your pillow/carry it with you
make an oil by steeping it in a carrier oil for 1-14 days
boil in water to make a spray
make a spell jar by layering the herbs in a jar before sealing with wax in a color of your choice.
or whatever else you can think of! Be creative.
Feel free to modify this to your tastes. Mix and match, omit, add or substitute. I must reiterate that this herb mix is not a solve-all for a depressive episode, but spirituality can definitely be one facet to help you in your mental health journey. You are stronger than you know, and there is always, always a way through, no matter how bleak it looks. And remember:
☆゚.*・。゚YOU GOT THIS!!! ゚。・*.゚☆

How to make sigils, a tutorial in my book of shadows.
[Do not repost without permission /remove caption or remove source]
How to use a sigil wheel.
A tutorial.
I rarely use this method myself, but I know people are always looking for tutorials on different methods of sigil making and not finding any. I’ve had a few different people asking for more graph based sigil making techniques, and this is a fairly well known one that fits that category. I hope this tutorial is coherent and answers questions instead of making things more confusing. If you have any questions, however, never be afraid to ask.
Another Sigil Tutorial
Hello everyone! So I had a lot of questions about my other sigil posts and decided to post another method to making sigils. This is another one of my favorites to use! I just really like the way these turn out. I call this the constellation method!
Step 1: Get your Phrase
For this tutorial I'm using the phrase "Protect this place"
Step 2: Take Out Repeating Letters
So any repeating letters you have take them out! *Side note: this step doesn't matter too much because of the method which you will see in a minute but it helps confusion*
"Protect this place" becomes "protechisla"
Step 3: Making Dots
Remember this chart?
So grab this chart and just ignore your numbers. Take what is left of your phrase for us "protechisla" and make dots on all of the letters you see. It should come out looking something like this:
So now we've got our "stars" for our "constelation". Take out the chart and you should be left with an assortment of dots like this:
Step 4: Connecting the Dots
So we have this random assortment of dots and now you get to be creative and connect them however you see fit. Play around until you have something you like. This is what mine looked like after some playing around with different arrangements:
Step 5: Make it a "Constellation"
This is what mine looked like when I was finished.
This is a wonderful method for those who are still in the "broom closet" because they just look like super cute little doodles or constellations. It's a super easy method. Just remember DON'T OVERTHINK ANYTHING!!!!! Make this your own sigil. Follow the method but also do whatever feels right! And most important! Stay safe and have fun with it!!!!!
This was the first method of sigil making I ever learned, from a post by @the-darkest-of-lights. I decided to make my own tutorial on it with my spare time. Happy sigil making! I’ll be making more of these on other methods of sigil making I think, because there’s so many different methods, and this was quite enjoyable to make. (I know that you can make sigils with the other various planetary numerology squares but honestly I still haven’t figured out how, I only know this one.)
This is a really easy way I've found to make sigils. I recommend engaging in meditation/prayer/manifestation/intention setting, which ever feels most applicable to you, while creating or before/after creating your sigil to put your full intent into the sigil you create. ✨️🤌
book recommendations pt. 1
i read,,, a lot of books. and with a special interest in this shit that means i have a considerable amount of books that are just witchcraft/paganism related. ofc, not all of these are going to be the Best options out there, i know that it's much better to get your information from a primary/secondary source or academic study, but i'm working with what i have and what i know how to get access to. if you have any recommendations or addendums to these, let me know! i'd love to hear what yall have to say.

How to Use Candle Colors in Practice ✮⋆˙
☽ Set Your Intention:
Decide on your goal for the ritual or spell. Align it with the corresponding candle color.
☽ Cleansing and Charging:
Before lighting, cleanse your candle by passing it through the smoke of sage or incense. Hold it in your hands and visualize your intention, “charging” it with your energy.
☽ Dress the Candle:
Anoint the candle with oil (like olive or lavender oil) while focusing on your intent. This enhances the connection between your energy and the candle's purpose.
☽ Light the Flame:
When you’re ready, light the candle and let it burn completely, if possible. Never leave it unattended, always remember to be safe when working with fire!
Budget-Friendly Candle Tips.☘︎ ݁˖
♡ Use What You Have: Even a white tea light can be infused with powerful intent.
♡ DIY Candle Colors: Wrap colored thread or paper around plain candles to mimic the desired color energy.
♡ Reuse Wax: Collect remnants of old candles to create new ones for future rituals.

✨blessings!
When I first began practicing witchcraft in 1996 I had very little in the way of supplies. I used candles and cloth for most things.
Then I performed my first binding, which was the first spell of mine that did not work.
I moved into petition magick. Simple. They never worked at first. I had trouble with the idea of the spell not being fancy enough. I was young.
In 2018 I began petition work again. I didn't have much. Things I wanted to manifest were coming to me rather quickly. I was well over needing anything to be fancy.
My altar had a few things from local shops, but most of what I set it up with came from a dollar store.
I began to work with candles more.
Today I work with a few more crystals, I have gotten new cards, my oracle decks were all stolen a number of year's ago, and I have a little more spending money.
But for the first 15 years plus of my practice, I literally used what I had around me.
Witchcraft isn't about the tools, the oils, the crystals, or other goodies.
While they can be nice to have. They don't make the witch.
