I will never understand the double standard that happens when black women date white men vs when black men date white women. Me being alternative there’s always this assumption that I primarily date white men.

SURE I MEAN I DO LIKE A BIT OF WHITE CHOCOLATE BUTTT I do not discriminate. What I primarily like is someone who is not a facist asshole lol. But I don’t understand why alot of black people see dating white guys for black women as this self hating thing where the black woman is “tainting” herself or “willingly colonizing herself” (words that were actually said to me) all because of who she is currently dating or have dated. Mind you, whenever I’m on the internet and see a black man with a white woman it’s always “oh yeah get you a snow bunny” or it’s praised to the point where it’s a fetish.

Sometimes I think it has something to do with how s3x is viewed, and how alot of people don’t see it as something that’s mutual and that it’s something almost dehumanizing for the person being penetrated.

Like why are we trying to uphold the same laws that kept us separated as people? People should be able to love freely.

Idk I guess I’m just ranting but it just irritates me sometimes

Tried giving them a more cohesive design (the proportions are completely changed because I don’t know how to do that😭) while also keeping the somewhat looseness of the original ones. There are very little chinese influences in their clothing, only because Hancock gives off such a chinese empress vibe but besides that I also tried to keep the “tribal” look they got going on.

The second image is a sketch of a possible devil fruit for Hancock that played way more into the “Gorgon” myth, especially the Greek one. I like the idea of Hancock, the most beautiful woman on earth, having a devil fruit that would turn her into this monstrous creature (in my head it could also represent a more truthful side of her, an opportunity that lets her manifest her emotions without any restraint)

I hate how many YouTubers are framing what's happening with TADC as "fandom drama", and I hate how many people are framing people calling Gooseworx out on her past comments as "canceling her for no reason". Yes, it's sad that Goose lost motivation for a piece of art that once brought her joy. However, there's a difference between "canceling" someone and pointing out that she's said misogynistic and racist things. Misogyny and racism are not "fandom drama", and Black people are not being overdramatic for being upset with Gooseworx and Michael Kovach and Ashley Nichols. I don't know how to explain to people that yes, it IS racist to laugh about repeatedly almost saying the n-word as a white person.

like i quite literally have never been more passionate about anything than i am about the human race’s invariable desire to tell stories and the fact that we always find a way to do it, through spoken language and written language and body language and visual art and theater and poetry and oral tradition and a million other things. there are so many things we take for granted about the human experience that we never stop to think about but i really want you to take a step back and consider how fucking amazing it is that our need to tell stories transcends all boundaries of time and geography and borders and language. it is one of very few things that is legitimately intrinsic to human nature and i will never stop being completely in awe of humanity for that.
