20 convicts are chosen and sent to a camp out in the middle of the country, in which they are left to presumably their own devices, but are trusted to make tries in turning their life around, redemption even... but not everyone is capable of change, let alone for the better
HellDwellers?
HellDwellers is the teaming name of the trio that consists of Aconitum, Felix, and Cain. Aconitum is trying her hardest to keep things calm, but unfortunately for her the cryptid in her head and her two teammates are suckers for blood and havoc.
Aconitum?
Spoilers for her lore below;
Prisoner Aconitum Mortensdatter, imprisoned on the account of second-degree murder against their… partner;… C. [REDACTED] …
The prisoner pleads innocent, showing barely a hint of remorse, but indeed showing signs of mourning.
Aconitum claims: “I didn’t do it!”, Aconitum claims: “I would never kill (C. [Redacted]).”, Aconitum claims: “I loved her with my whole heart.”
However forensic data and reports from the neighbors support otherwise.
Family members of the Mortensdatter household claimed that Aconitum seemed… out of it the week leading up to the murder… Aconitum had supposedly begun talking to herself when she was alone… as if there was someone whispering into her ears…
Aconitum has continued to do so, even after… many, and repetitive searches for any auditory devices… anything that could supply Aconitum Mortensdatter with outsider information and help.
Late into the nights when guards are passing by the mourning prisoner, guards have reported hearing her whisper, plead… even argue with herself… but these conversations almost always seemed… one sided.
Guards have also reported… and as much as we the councils and warden disprove of this… have reported her eyes reflecting the light of their flashlights, which is impossible; humans do not have a tapetum lucidem… in other words, the specialized layer of tissue behind the retina which reflects the light.
On other days where Aconitum seemed… “out of it” as those who knew her prior had put it… she was much more aggravated by the prisoners around her… seemed much more self assured in her strength, of which on any other day; Aconitum Mortensdatter would not use to even shove a guard even if it meant keeping her own personal space.
On the accounts of the prisoners she has picked fights with… she claims she didn’t do it… she didn’t think she did at least… doesn’t… remember…
We here, believe this is a case of concern… and see our prisoner; Aconitum Motensdatter, as a perfect candidate for the rumored one way trip… The Penitence Project.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION AND ALIGNMENT BELOW:
Aconitum Mortensdatter, can be seen as an embodiment of misanthropy (the distrust, and hatred towards mankind)... or at least her more aggressive counterpart is. Aconitum is possessed and haunted by an incomprehensible horror of which not only gaslit her into believing she didn't kill her wife; Calluna Knakz, but also has essentially managed to repress any memories of what happens when the entity controls her. the entity MIGHT be The King in Yellow... MIGHT not... we'll see. Aconitum would likely TECHNICALLY be: "Innocent but grows more ruthless as time goes on." HOWEVER, do note: SHE IS GUILTY OF HER CRIMES, SHE IS NOT INNOCENT, SHE JUST BELIEVES SHE IS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE ENTITY ALLOWS HER TO THINK AS OF BEGINNING OF HER STORY. Throughout the rp, she will hopefully develop more into learning and realizing the flaws and the holes in the lies the entity has been telling her... unless a miracle happens, there will be no redemption for her... there may be a small arc here and there where she tries to make up for the death of her wife... but if things go as hoped and/or planned... she will most likely be dragged down by not only the entity and her past, but also others in which she finds herself playing a game of devotion and worship... Aconitum Mortensdatter, will not make it out alive... at least not innocent.

This is what allowed for her to be taken advantage of by what we presume is the king in yellow, she had an unregistered book be dropped off at the library during one of her early morning shifts. She read it, let it into her mind, and was then tricked into murdering her wife.

au where Cleo's mother lives and either Cleo gets turned later in life (the likelier outcome) or we get pensioner Cleo (why do men only get to grow old, I demand variety) and either way, you get a stabler Cleo, but still one who has been surrounded by vampires their whole life and their social skills are slightly skewed

I feel like Cleo & Abolish's relationship could go one of two ways:
Awkward "our adopted parents are friends so we have to play nice" energy where they keep getting left in each other's presence because "well, they're both human, they'll find things in common" while the "grown-ups" talk
60/70 year old Cleo gets along far too well with this child, honorary big cousin energy, and now the two are a menace

This translates to his bat as well. The second he gets his coven and/or outed, he has mobile napping posts EVERYWHERE.
Plus, it makes sense, since coma patients do struggle with staying awake post-awakening! And i think comparing v!scott to sleeping beauty is sillies!
More on this au, since im gearing up to start writing a bit for it!
In this, scott was always the sleepy guy, similar to sleepy princess in the demon castle. His reasoning for being a vampire was that he wanted to be able to sleep however long he wanted w/o interruption. He was still a lord and whatnot, but he generally allowed people to do whatever so long as it caused no issues for him.
Different vampires have different abilities based off of personality/desires/ambitions. Like if vampires were eevees. No two vampires are the same, however certain abilities can be passed down. For scott, animals adore him (especially when he is asleep, allowing him to eat/fall asleep on them in peace) and he can use fruit juice as a weaker substitute for blood, with a downside that he is always falling asleep at random. He can also just walk into people’s houses, which he uses for evil (taking over their beds). For owen, garlic and holy water have less of an effect, but he needs more blood than average.
EvilMC is not going to be in this, i will be replacing that character with another vampire hunter for the drama
Scott was not cursed in this, however i will be giving him some form of trauma. Perhaps last surviving member of a coven-icide by hunters???? The world may never know 😌😉
If i do magically end up writing a ship for this, its most likely gonna be crossfangs.

I think back sometimes to how I apparently got diagnosed.
Quick context: My mom has ADHD and she got it from her bio dad. She's also REALLY good at identifying people if they're neurodivergent in some way
Anyway, so mom and my bio dad went to get my older brother evaluated for his autism that my mom suspected he had, and apparently whoever was doing the eval looked at me and asked "what about them?"
Details are fuzzy as my mom told me this a bit ago, but effectively, mom got her assumption of me having ADHD affirmed when she was getting my brother evaluated
