Hey! Yeah i’m definitely alright, i’ve never been affected by any of the recent shit going on, as I’ve just kept to the sidelines while being supportive of those who i’m close to that were hurt. I’m on holiday right now so i’m just chilling out while trying to stay on top of the information.
It’s a shitty time right now and I probably would say more, but it would be more about ‘mcyt, how it handles these things etc’, but i won’t since im very busy travelling.

Asking because I've been doing my own campaign with friends— and in the middle of a serious conversation; an armadillo walked right in front of us, LMAO
well oakhurst clearly exists it a time vortex connected to all different parts of the world and in different times. why else would big foot be there?
Lil project ive been doodling in my downtime - Goldsmith sire lineage hcs! plus historically-inspired outfits for funsies. Elaboration under cut for those curious :3
For the lineup part:
I'm a big fan of the hc ever since the first Harpy Express stream of The Marquise being Scott's sire. Like yeah that would explain why Scott Goldsmith is Like That™.
And then I like combining Luanne's lore of Louis' sire being his mother Vedette and Owen's lore of Louis possibly being a Goldsmith (but unaffiliated with the coven itself).
But that leaves an empty spot between Vedette and Scott, so I decided to go with Lizzie cause that felt fun and fitting! It was between her, Tango, Mumbo, and Impulse but Lizzie felt like she fit the best :D
Going based on the approximate years we know for Scott and Owen I basically just spaced everybody out every 100 years. Technically Vedette and Louis would both be from the 1400s, but given Vedette kind of disappears from the picture by Owen's time I just labeled Louis as 1500s so each fledgling is a nice even 100 years apart.
The outfits are regionally inspired! For the most part - Louis and Owen's are mostly just their canon outfits, with Louis' having a lil touch of 1500-1600s Polish mostly in the overcoat. Oakhurst is described as "Vaguely Eastern European" but in my research I found a town that works exceptionally well in fitting the lore and geography of Oakhurst in Poland (Olkusz! It was a royal town in the 1200s and mostly populated by nobles. It's also on a river and next to a desert and the town is known for its silver mines! Including apparently a legend that the devil created the desert to bury the silver. I'm adding that as a legend to my personal Oakhurst hcs). So I mostly researched Polish fashion across the middle ages into the 1700s. And then the Marquise and Scott are more Western Europe because presumably they come before Oakhurst was founded.
I say historically-inspired because I was absolutely hodge-podge-ing things together while also trying to keep adjacent to canon and usual outfits as much as possible to keep them recognizable. I do medieval reenactment as a hobby so this kind of research and throwing things together is typical for me lmao. That's why I did the outfits as well. But I will not claim any sort of accuracy. Vedette also only has like half an official appearance so her's was also very fun to hash out.
It took all my willpower to not include Doc and Abolish as well after Owen but I'm not adding two more characters to this lineup. Just know they're also there in spirit.
