i hope i havent posted about this before but tbh i cant remember cause ive written down headcanons on my phone, on tumblr and in several notebooks so everything is blurred lmao

- Toby is german (he got to america by sneaking onto a ferry a day after he killed his dad and burnt down his neighborhood) all his family for generations are german, the exception being his uncle and cousin, who are american. i could write lore about Tobys family if anyone is interested!:) i made an entire family tree and i want to continue expanding it until they can be business men in ye olden days o_o

- Tim and Brian are from alabama

- EJ is from wisconsin, me and an old friend had a headcanon that he lived there which would make him one of the few blind people who graduated as doctors:) in my current AU it is slightly different, EJ actually did graduate and the ritual took place on the weekend after their graduation, but its still a cool fact that a blind person became a doctor at that university:)

- Liam is mexican but was of course adopted by the scientist (in my AU the scientist is named DR Williams. yes it was a mistake because Sally Williams and Liam are not related..)

- Natalie is french-canadian! like Toby, Nat is not an american citizen, she just lives in her trailer in the woods to hang out with her friends lol

- Jane, Jeff and Liu are all american, but i haven’t thought of specifics because they arent my favorites :P ill keep yall updated if/when i think of something more specific

- Nina is spanish and her parents moved to texas for business opportunities. Nina and Toby met on obscure chat forums when Toby was still in his emo phase and thats how Nina later got involved with the creepycrew:) she moved closer to her friends!

i imagine that my main creepycrew has its own smaller friend groups and great dynamics within, and theres a few creeps being the reason they all hang out:)

before i list of the smaller cliques ill give an example of only hanging out ‘cause they share a friend! the example is Toby and Jane. theyre civil and respect each other’s boundaries (that being Toby and Nat pretty much stopped hanging out one on one since Nat and Jane are a couple!) and can make a decent team in a game, but much like Bea and Gregg from NITW their common denominators are Nat and Jack!

Anyways- the 2 best cliques are the following:

Eyeless Jack - Jane - Brian

Liam - Toby - Natalie

And the people with the best synergy (and a bit of why) are:

Tim and Brian! - i think we all know why lol, they have known each other the longest and have a lot of history, they have old married couple vibes and its been that way for most of the time that theyve shared Tims car as a home.

Toby, Tim and Brian - they all have the slender sickness, they know each others struggles and are a found family, a very strange and hurt found family. sure, Toby worries his dads shitless sometimes, and sure, he will get a stirn talking to as they patch him up, but theyll get through whatever life throws at them. they have each other.

Jane and Nina - these queens have a great taste in music and fashion, and an even greater hatred for the man that ruined their lives. they share obscure bands, do each others makeup and gossip, sometimes theyll even invite Liu:)

Toby and Liam - these two love to fuck shit up and brawl just for the fun of it! Liam is not the calm to Tobys chaos, he is very much indulgent and complicit in the stunts they pull. theyre 2 forces of nature. the sun, lighting up a room with his smile, and then burning it down in a fiery blaze. and the moon, dark, mysterious and beautiful. captivating you with how fascinating he is, but also capable of ruining civilizations with the tides. (i love these 2 lol)

Toby and Jack - Jack is actually the calm to Tobys chaos. they bring out the best and the worst in each other. they are complete opposites of one another and thus create a balance required for them both to function normally. Before Toby, Jacks world was dark, monstrous and empty. Before Jack, Tobys world was a chaotic mess of bright flashing colors and blurred outlines. together their worlds are a bit more at piece:)

Imagine EJ somewhat functioning as a medical alert dog due to being a demon!

the demon part is what gave him that ability but it can correctly diagnose his patients since its also a doctor.

this would not be pleasant for EJ since its around a bunch of mentally and physically ill people so this ability drains a lot of their energy. however its a fucking life saver for any of his patients and is appreciated by his friends if they have a/are about to have a panic attack:)

like imagine Jane about to have a panic attack and Jack telling her as much, then it sits down next to her and just starts purring!

also a little extra headcanon:) Jack is close friends with Jane, Brian, Liu and Tim. Jack, Brian and Jane are a friend group. Jane and Tim arent very close, and same goes for Liu with Tim and Brian.

as we all know, Toby has two primary hatchets.

but i would like to suggest that he carries a few hurlbats if hes on a mission! adding onto that, he could make his own:)

in my au he lives in an old abandoned factory which gives him access to heavy mechanical tools (very shitty, like 90% unusable tools, so Toby uses them for scraps since theyre not much more than piles of rubbish by the time Toby discovers the factory) the ones that do still work are beneficial for manufacturing items made of metal. Toby has a hobby of making/fixing weapons so naturally he would make weapons for himself too!

I think that man would love hurlbats because of their efficiency and ability to carry a lot of them at once!:)

(Toby def also has a rage-room in the factory, buts thats unrelated lol)

I like how different yet similar Jack and the doctor are and that reminds me of Tobes and X-Virus.

I also headcanon Toby to be a massive comic book, DC superhero and Torchwood/Doctor who fan:) He probably made Liam watch some of the stuff with him and now hes also a fan of Doctor who:)

trying to fix plot holes in my own au because i just realized that the events of marble hornets wouldve unleashed a slender-pocalypse ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuckk T-T

the easiest way to fix it will probably be to just say those people died because they didnt know anything about the slenderman beyond what they learnt from the mh yt channel. I’ll have to explain my take on the operator sickness once i finally have it all written down and not scatter brained-
