I created this blog to share my experience with #crohn's disease and #chronic illness. I was diagnosed with crohns in 2000. Since the diagnoses, I have had 2 surguries for crohns and more autoimmune diseases have developed. I can no longer work in the healthcare field. My hope is to help others with this disease by providing insights and strength through experience, knowledge, and Faith.

The Dark Visitor of Pain

The dark visitor of pain has come to lurk It's grimy shadow creeps in like a sudden plague It comes so quickly with its deadly grip Tearing my insides into shreds.

It can't wait to begin gnawing at it's rhyming pace Over and over, again and again, the pain want stop. It thrusts itself deeper and deeper into its favorite spot. Each thrust creates the throbbing pulses inside me.

It's powerful grip clings to innocent flesh Causing the feeling of knife-like cuts inside Sometimes the visitor will cause burning, piercing hot spots The dark visitor wrath will bring tears to my eyes

Thank you so much. So sweet of you to take the time to write this. I am actually at ER waiting to b seen. Been trying to pass #kidney stone since 2/26 but just want move. Today, pain, N&V, and fever kicked in bad. My urologist wouldn’t call me back so here I am.

I was sent home with pain meds and antibiotic for UTI yesterday. I have been trying to do some stuff around house but still get episodes of nausea and pain. Said I had 4mm stone now. How r you?
