Real question. Whats wrong with Erik living in Poland? There are polish jews and communities. Jewish neiberhoods etc.

It just doesn’t make sense to me that Erik would want to live in Poland when that’s the country where he suffered in Auschwitz. He’d associate that country with Shaw and the deaths of his parents. You’d think he’d never want to see that place again. Plus he is fluent in so many languages, which means he had so many options of places to hide. It’s not like Poland was the only place he could go.

I mean no offense against Poland itself, of course. I just think from a character perspective, Erik would not want to be there.
