Gang I do not need more reason to relate to Gillion motherfisjing tidestrider. Wanting so desperately to love yourself and to believe that you’re worthy of care and love and that you have worth outside of duty/protection/what you give but just not believing it no matter how hard you try. And the worry that if you let that hatred slip you’ll become someone so much worse or let people down or fail and then what are you? Not knowing a life outside of what you give to other people and being so scared that when you start living for yourself, you’re not enough and not worthy of what you have. Ughhhhh I get this fish boy so badly and I haven’t even watched the episode yet

While making this comic, I stumbled upon this song, and it's a very gilly/fnc song that was quite fitting... so here, give it a listen.

The universes for each one, if anyone cares:

First: mermaid au

Second and third: just normal riptide

Fourth and fifth: mermaid au again

Sixth: part of a leviathan gilly au which features plentiful fnc

Seventh: spiderverse au, i have some sketches of all of the crews spidersonas and such so there may be more of that

Eight: normal riptide but they’re gayer

Ninth and tenth: fnc royalty au. Chips a king and Gillion is his new personal guard who takes his job very seriously.

I think it'd be really cool if like. After getting Pelagus' blessing and stuff, Gillion got a little makeover where his markings were.sharper and his coral looked more like horns... this is so self indulgent but idk. Also I like the idea of his hair getting longer and him getting taller ... cuz he got his oath back and stuff....overall jusg more. dragony in appearance....
