WHUMPTOBER 2025: PROMPTS LIST

Welcome to Whumptober 2025 — The Eighth Year!

WHUMPTOBER is a month-long, prompt-based creation CHALLENGE (think: Inktober, but whumpier). There are four prompts for each day of the month, giving 124 for you to play with! There is also a list of 18 alternative prompts that can be subbed in for any day to give participants as much creative freedom as possible.

All prompts are meant to serve as inspiration without being taken literally (e.g. you don’t have to include the exact wording of prompts into your work). Feel free to run rampant on interpretation. For example, if the prompt is “flame", you could create something with reference to a candle/campfire, your character could have suffered a burn, or the flame could be a reference to an ‘old flame’ - an old relationship. It’s truly down to you!

You can produce work in any media you choose, including but not limited to: writing, visual artwork, photo/video/audio edits, paper crafts and elaborate recommendation lists (not just a list of links). You can participate as much or as little as you want (i.e. you don’t have to do ALL the prompts if you don’t want to) and prompts can be used in any order. They are also free to use even after the event ends.

how does producing csem help with being assaulted ive never understood that

Coming from someone who uses fictional characters to cope (but in a normal way) the "fiction to cope" thing has been spun way out of proportion to try and make horrible actions seem okay.

If you're exploring your trauma through a fictional lens, whether it's making characters, stories, or projections about it, it can help you to understand what happened to you. It can also help you to understand why it was wrong. A common symptom in victims is they don't always think highly of themselves after being traumatized, so while they may not think it was wrong for THEM to go through that (something along the lines of "I deserved it" or "it wasn't really that bad"), putting a fictional character that you care about or project onto in that sort of situation can help you to realize why what happened to you was wrong. This is why it's common for creators to put parts of their personal lives into their creations.

The issue with the stuff Kc and her little predator ring makes however is that it works to romanticize these things, not truly work through them. They refuse to admit their trauma was wrong, which in turn traps them in a neverending loop where they rationalize and normalize it over and over again. Hell, it's become such a large part of Kc that she's based her ENTIRE identity around a traumatic experience. That is not healthy.

There's also the whole issue with all of those people being actual irl predators and/or people who defend irl predation and harassment. It's never been "just fictional" there's scientific proof that the content you consume changes the way your brain works.

This probably won't be the final leak post since more keeps coming out, but here's an updated summary of everything. This is mostly copypasted from the lotus anon. I will update this if more comes out. Let me know if there is mistakes.

WARNING: Body horror. Suicide attempts/baiting descriptions.

As an orphan Carrie was forced to eat other orphans to survive.

In high school Uni was bullied by a character named Naba D. Cures and eventually snapped, using her magic and accidentally giving him a brain injury. Afterwards she swore to never use her magic again.

Outside the hospital Naba married another bully of Uni's named Jacob E. Wurse. Their daughter is named Samba D. Cures, and she is in a relationship with Barry's sister, Fairy, who is a trans girl.

Brigh's parents died and he was housed with his sister and abusive uncle. He eventually snapped and lit a fire that killed both his sister and uncle. This is meant to mirror Doom and Mood (continue reading).

Hemera and her sibling Noah (allotpun no feeling) used to be wild and rowdy like Caroline, but Noah was turned into a doll as punishment. She used luck magic to put a spell on Jay to prevent the same thing from ever happening again, at the cost of her own luck.

Holden Cradle/Karen Caress are managers of other hospitals, named Twinklecare and Glittercare. They're in the same healthcare network as Sparklecare but they're normal and not evil. Ben Brace is the one who oversees the healthcare network basically. Sparklecare was founded by Dr. Cuddling Cuddles and President Meat, who shared a vision for better healthcare. They hired a taxidermist named Tony Boxx (read further for more information on him) to translate his skills into plastic surgery. Phil was their main financial backer. Sparklecare used to be good before an event called the Disinfection, when Phil (after killing the original Dr. Cuddles who was a good doctor) killed anyone in the hospital unless they worked for him in exchange for their lives or were otherwise useful to him somehow. The ones from pre-wipeout I remember are Kiki (spared due to Cuddles selling his jelly for profit), Polly (who was an intern whose TUC made him unable to remember anything anyway), Reese (who can turn invisible), and Charles (who escaped). There might be more, I don't remember.

Phil used parts of dead patients in a part of the hospital called the Restricted Ward. It used to be a morgue. There's multiple parts to it: the Toy Factory is full of grotesque torture machines used on Uni by Phil every day to try and make her commit suicide so Phil can harness her magic for evil. It's as edgy as it sounds. The heart on her wristband indicates that Phil has "claimed" her. Phil threatens to kill anyone who she tells about it so the only one who knows is Carrie.

The other part is the Dollhouse, which is where Phil does experiments with machines and dead bodies. His goal is to create perfectly obedient slaves out of patients to do his bidding. He keeps a character named Tony Boxx (allotpun toybox) who is a taxidermist and is clearly meant to resemble Livings down there against his will, forced to create dolls. There's also another evil doctor named Kit-10 who does the "robot" parts of the dolls. Meat is also kept barely alive in the Dollhouse.

Notably the only others who know about the Dollhouse are the Chunklings. Pepper was an experiment using two similar-species patients to create a doll and was rescued by Scratch, who was so horrified they went completely mute due to trauma. Pepper's original names were Pep Inyer Step and Per F. Etcetera.

After Hemera and Miley die, Uni attempts suicide by cutting off her own horn and trying to stab herself with it. This is mirrored by the scene in Volume 4 where Mood, Carrie and Barry find Uni after the talent show. They're able to save her and reattach her horn but she's unable to use magic while her horn heals.

Late in Series 1, Doom accidentally discovers the Restricted Ward and gets lost in it, so Mood follows him. She's horrified and disgusted by what she finds so she confronts Phil, which leads to her getting put in a coma. When Doom finds out about this he attempts suicide by lighting a fire that burns down the whole hospital.

Phil lures the main cast down and reveals to Uni that he was Dolly all along by using a controller to melt Dolly's face off revealing the robotic skull underneath, then reveals the Perfect Patient, who is a doll made up of Hemera, Miley, Kathy and Susey (early in development Mood died and was used instead of Kathy). It only speaks in quotes those characters have said to bait Uni into suicide - Phil also demonstrates its power by using it to kill Chip. Uni almost gives in but Barry gives her a heartfelt speech (word-for-word the speech Barrific gives Kneevil in Volume 4), which changes her mind. They escape the Restricted Ward together, locking Phil down with the Perfect Patient, who kills him. The Perfect Patient dies in the fire.

While escaping the hospital as it burns down, Barry gets crushed by a falling support beam and Uni uses her magic to save him. This depletes the last of the magic in her body due to her broken horn and leaves her blind, but they're all able to escape together.

Afterwards, the patients go to a normal hospital to get regular treatment. They reunite with their families and Uni finally comes out as a woman to Barry, who lovingly accepts her.

The last volume is an epilogue recounting the struggles of the patients at a ceremony honoring them.

Series 2 is called Less Grim. It has a horror theme; its volumes are named like a poem too, but they're horror/grimdark themed. I don't remember all of them. I think one of them was "lowering the casket" or something similar. It was meant to be very slice of life and a healing story of the survivors. The most boring series. Not a lot happened in it aside from relationship drama and court cases, it's basically just Cometcare leadup. The Spinch government had never seen a case so gruesome so they devised a new plan, Heart Pins, as a sentence for those who were forced to kill patients. The Heart Pins are basically like a magic mind-reading tool that alerts the authorities if the person ever genuinely wants to hurt someone again. It makes thought crimes illegal, more or less. Doom is sentenced to one. He turns to Tears as a coping method and, I shit you not, becomes catholic. He changes his name to Gloom Andoom to hide his identity from others as he copes with his sister's "death". Then she wakes up, there's drama and they reconcile. Other sentences include Heart Pins for anyone not evil, and prison for the ones that are (like Sunshine and Nya).

Almost forgot, "Cuddle" becomes a trigger word for Uni. Her dad calls her "sockie" as a nickname, which is what Dolly also called her, which leads to her believing that every single person she loves is secretly Phil in disguise. She starts having nightmares about being a toy in a giant dollhouse controlled by Phil as well.

Barry abandons science and becomes a writer because he now believes in magic because of Uni. They separate from each other during Series 2 but eventually get back together again.

Series 3 is called Baby Steps. Instead of volumes it has "episodes". It, quite simply, is Cometcare without Hemera. The only difference is that any children belonging to dead characters are completely absent, aside from Chloe, who is the firstborn at the end of Series 2, making her the oldest as another anon leaked. There were plans for there to be a Hemera/Miley child raised jointly by Doom and Carrie, but he was scrapped. I don't remember why.

Various details: Howie's brother is a serial killer who framed his parents for murder, getting them arrested. They're an abusive household from what I remember. I have no memory of Howie being adopted by the Mickeys, so that may have been private incest ship fodder. Howie's grandpa was Daggy Bonez, a returning preboot character who worked for Cuddles and offered his body to be made into a doll (all the meat puppet/zombie characters are called "dolls"). This is why Dolly looks like Daggy: they're not a remade preboot character, they're a flesh puppet made of Daggy.

There's a plotline in Series 3 where Sly finds a flyer for the Sparkle Caring Club in the Mickey house attic and confronts the parents about it which leads to everyone else finding out too. This results in Ally burning the house down, which releases her of her chronic nightmares and removes her fire magic. During the confrontation everyone's colors become saturated (dark blue Marco, cyan Frosty, neon green Eve etc.)

Also Cream tries to kill Doom.

Additionally Cream is transmasculine. His pronouns are he/him. This isn't reflected in old art because it is a more recent change.

Naba D. Cures

Allotpun “Nobody Cures”. He was Uni’s old high school bully. One day Uni got fed up with the bullying and used her magic to accidentally give him a brain injury, and she was so horrified that she swore to never use her magic again. He later goes on to marry another one of Uni’s old high school bullies and has a kid called Samba D. Cures.

Perfect Patient

(WARNING SUICIDE MENTION)

A doll created by Cuddles out of the dead bodies of Miley, Mood, and Hemera to torment Uni to try and get her to kill herself. Cuddles makes them kill Chip to demonstrate their power, and they also end up killing Cuddles at some point during the sequence where the hospital burns down (more on that here)

Noah Philly

Allotpun “No Feeling”. Hemera’s sibling who used to be rowdy and rebellious like Caroline until they were turned into a doll by Cuddles as punishment, which is why Hemera is so scared of other people acting out, fearing that they’ll end up like Noah. Noah's limbs were also sewn onto Hemera to act as a reminder to never act out again. To ensure something like this never happened again, Hemera cast a luck spell on Jay (which is where they got their luck from) at the cost of her own luck.

This is after they first escape the hospital for good. Uni’s horn scar is presumably from when she tried committing suicide by sawing her horn off and stabbing herself with it (because Cuddles tried talking her into suicide so he could harness her magic to better control the dolls). Her eyes being blue might have something to do with the fact that she went blind after exhausting the last of her magic to save Barry from a falling pillar when they were escaping. Her burn mark is also from when they were escaping, since the hospital was set on fire by Doom. Idk what Barry’s tail scar and both of their elbow scars are from though.

The burn mark and missing limbs are from when he tried burning the hospital down with everyone still in it. His new allotpun is “Gloom and Doom” and his last name is Mickey because it’s the name him, Uni, Polly, and Barry chose for themselves after getting married.

So apparently Sparklecare used to be a good hospital, founded by Cuddles and President Meat who envisioned a better future for medical care. Phil (Allotpun “Filthy Rich”) was their main financial backer, but at some point he decided to kill cuddles and sewed parts of his body onto himself and stole his identity. (phil essentially became the cuddles we see in the comic. The REAL cuddles wasn’t evil). He killed anyone in the hospital who didn’t do whatever he said or wasn’t useful to him. The only people that were in the hospital when phil took over who survived were Charles (who escaped), Reese (who can turn invisible), Polly (they were an intern and their TUC made them forget everything that happened), and Kiki (Phil spared him because he could sell his jelly for profit).
