Two Martial Arts Greetings

Seeing Mortal Kombat as a child left several impressions on me, and one of them was loving this greeting. It took until the internet was a thing to learn what it actually meant and now that I know, I like it even more.

It is called Bao Quan ( and also Bao Quan Li ) and it’s common within many styles of Chinese Martial Arts. It has several meanings but the one I prefer, if you ask me and you do in this post, is the one where it stands for to not abuse strength, to be humble, discipline, restraint, self-control and all that sort of stuff.

But the one I do not know is this one;

I cannot find a single source to tell me what this one means. I can make my own educated guess like, to crush opposition, to let strength rule the weak, to overpower etc.

But what does it really mean? I would really like to know.
