isn't this the opposite of what we should be doing? don't brands HATE being made the generic term? this is the whole reason behind bandaid as a brand changing their jingle to "i'm stuck on bandaid BRAND" because bandaid was being used as the generic term too much so they didn't want to lose their trademark's power. like i think what we should be doing is saying things like "let me google that on duckduckgo for you" because that REALLY pisses google off and weakens their power as a brand.
