I was just in a tumblr group chat for witches and I had to leave because I go in there to see people talking about Lucifer and people are like “Aww he’s just a softie and so cute!!” LUCIFER???? what??? I got pretty upset and I said like hey guys can we please not reduce insanely old entities, deities, etc to human standards by calling them and describing them like they’re your pet? It’s disrespectful to minimize their power and position like that. They’re not sweet smol cinnamon rolls, they’re ETHEREAL VERY VERY ANCIENT POWERFUL BEINGS! NOT YOUR PETS OR YOUR BFF! I work with Aphrodite and she would actually smack my soul out of my body if I sat there and called her cute and a softie and smol?? It’s degrading! Please don’t do that. If you’re just starting out: DO NOT DO THIS. And if you do it already: DONT DO IT ANYMORE! YOU ARE OFFENDING THEM. I understand if it’s just like a joke to you but it’s not funny. I get that it’s tumblr lingo but just don’t do it.

I'm knitting a dragon tail right now! Here's the basic pattern that I'm doing, it might change as I knit, I'm going to experiment with trying to add some plastic bear claws to it as spikes, if it doesn't work out that's fine, I'm going to sell it once it's finished, the main color is silver
