What is your favorite type of fanfic?

as someone that is been reading and writing fanfic since like middle school, i genuinely just care most about good stories and/or characterization.

i genuinely do not have a preference to f/f, m/m, m/f, etc. as long as the pairing is dope and the writing is good. i have met some extremely talented fanfic authors who put out amazing work and i respect them so much.
