this has been over a semester in the making and i finally buckled down to finish it this month. i know its a relic of low budgeting but i honestly really liked the monochrome backgrounds and ‘comic book stills’ in the og and wanted to omage that. i also think that what really makes danny phantom pop is the rogue’s gallery, so i wanted to focus more on the various ghosts and other characters he interacts with (unlike the og, which has his parents, dash, and [checks notes] that’s it)
the story depicted is a bit different from the og as well, mostly because it’s a rewrite I’ve been mentally workshopping for a while that i personally like more. it still fits the original but the visuals and implications are incredibly different. no prizes for guessing the mystery ghost
