OEDIPUS REX

if you know me you probably know that I am extremely fascinated and compelled by the tragedy of Oedipus, and any variation on that story, so this is my little tribute to my boy Oedious! the mask is clay formed on top of a shitty €1 mask I got from an arts and crafts shop and the pins in the eyes are made from sticks and fancy buttons. I had a lot of fun with this one, it took me a lot of tries to figure out how to depict the eyes being impaled and I really enjoyed the challenge!
