This is why I can't fault Sailor Moon, no matter how many remakes it goes through, for doing tropes that have become overused and stale in the magical girl genre. It was the OG! Those tropes were new and inventive at the time.

Returning to my Blicy roots with another comic for pride month 🫪 based on a convo I had and I thought it would be funny! Also, another trix comic is in the works for the Daughters of the Tower project, a winx zine focused on the witches 💃 I was asked to be part of it which is cool, considering how fond I am of the trix aheehee I‘m hoping to get back into drawing more winx comics when the second half of the reboot drops. It may be trash but it gets my ideas flowing 😛

Paris Mew Mew AU

I'm cleaning out my Google Drive, and here's an AU I created back in March 2016. I guess this was before we knew what Lila's name was, because in the original document I kept calling her Volpina.

Marinette, Sabrina, Chloé, and Lila were all at this exhibit for endangered animals.

There was an accident, and in the confusion Fu, along with his assistant Wayzz, placed animal DNA into the girls. (Adrien was also there but didn't get any genetic modification)

Marinette received the DNA of the nine spotted ladybug, her mew mark behind her left earlobe.

Sabrina received the DNA of the flat-headed cat, her mew mark on her right ring finger.

Chloé received the DNA of the honeybee, her mew mark between her shoulder blades.

Lila received the DNA of the island fox, her mew mark directly between her collar bones.

Wayzz finds Marinette first, and just in the nick of time because a boy with green eyes, pointed ears, and an overall catlike appearance, Plagg, shows up. He attacks the area. She manages to transform into Mew Bread, complete with ladybug wings, and use her attack Lucky Bread Charm to fight him off.

Wayzz and Fu then explain to Marinette that aliens showed up roughly 15-16 year ago, and they've been working to create supersoldiers. She and the other three girls received the DNA of endangered animals so that they could protect the people.
