Hi everyone, this has just gotten critical - I need an emergency tooth extraction ASAP, preferably this week, but I can’t afford it. 

All I need is £53.90, but I haven’t even got half of that much and it would only take a few people asking for half-body or full-body commissions to be able to make that up. You know a character I really want to see in DA4? Lace Harding. She’s an absolutely cinnamon roll who’s afraid of heights and has insane ideas, and she’s also super pretty and… Sigh. I just love her.

Amaya Trevelyan

Rogue Inquisitor married to Commander Cullen.

Amaya is quieter than most people imagine the Inquisitor to be. She thinks through her options before she says anything, though what comes out of her mouth may still be a bit cutting. People who don’t know her might describe her as cold and proud, but on speaking to her, they often change their minds. She takes the time to learn about the people she lives and works with. Her family called her an ‘old soul’ from an early age, and her habit of contributing concise and useful advice about everything from managing estates to planning a ball from an early age unnerved everyone around her. She is a listener of the first order. As the youngest daughter of three, it was a bit of self defence really, but it has served her in good stead so far.

Amaya is not very patient with people who make snap judgements and refuse to listen to reason. Long pointless meetings make her frustrated, and she has been known to walk out, informing everyone there to ‘inform her when someone important enough is here to discuss this with’. Needless to say, she leaves the negotiations to Josephine whenever possible. 

Her advisors in the Inquisition respect her ability to understand a situation quickly, and be decisive. Her sketches and maps are as good as the professional scouts, and occasionally she will pick up a lute and accompany the bard in the taverns. Only once did she sing a song of her own, which was on the lips of everyone at Skyhold for days, but no one can convince her to repeat her performance.

Her husband loves her thoughtful approach to things, and bursts with pride when he thinks that she picked him, of all the powerful people she’s met. They often sit up late discussing strategies and grand plans. Amaya loves his dedication to his work, even if it means she sees less of him.
