Coffee’s high heels clacked quietly across the floor when she slowly made her way over to Kingston Dice’s office. She took a deep breath as she stood in front of the door, closing her eyes as she cast a quick glance over the possibilities stretching out in front of her. She only browsed through the outliers for a quick moment. It was good to know of the most unlikely outcomes of a situation, but they weren’t worth dwelling on for too long. And most of these seemed to be about her being laughably incompetent, so they barely mattered. She approached the rest with care, trying not to pry too much into Kingston’s life. Ah... many saw him tired and easy to irritate. So she would have to act quickly and quietly. On the more unlikely side she saw him even fallen asleep as she stepped inside. All fairly improbable, considering his work ethic... probably worth discounting those. Another deep breath. Alright. A quiet knock would be good, followed by her coming in and just quickly delivering her application to him. That had been the most probable line of events, one that demonstrated her as unintrusive enough to hopefully remain in his good graces. She really wanted this position after all...

Her four hands hugged the clipboard with her application and some other documents she needed to deliver close to her chest while she reached out with one of her claws and gave a soft knock on the door.

Yes, hello! I would like to present… 

The Summer Beach Event!

The Summer Beach Event is through the first week official of summer! Aka: June 24th - June 29th

Everyone who lives in Inkwell has been invited to a huge beach event held by the Teacup Cafe! Join in with your Cuphead OCs, canon character, au’s, and whatever (in the cuphead fandom)  to have fun and party on the sandy waves!

Day 1: It’s all over Inkwell!

Did any of you hear? Everyone has been cordially invited by the little cafe in Isle 2 to have a huge party on the beach in Isle 3!

Day 2: Who should come with me?

Well, you obviously have to go with someone to a beach party like this. So, who are you gonna invite to party with your oc?

Day 3: What bathing suit should I wear?

Of course you have to wear a bathing suit to the beach! What? Have you never went to or seen a beach? ((sorry if you are offended by this!!!)) What shall your darling oc wear? A Bikini? A one piece? A Spedo? Some trunks?

Day 4-5: Party all day and all night!

For two days, you draw your ocs party, interact with people, swim, and much more on the beach!

Day 6: Relax on the Beach at night.

It’s night time, and its time for everyone to just relax and stare out at the beautiful sea. Maybe confess something to a friend they really liked for a while, or just something else! And, an extra announcement will be told during that day!

Ayyy, I am Broeckchen, aka Chen. I am cis female, 29 years old, from Germany and a bit silly sometimes. I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns. ^^

I am comfortable with shipping and a big multishipper. If anything I do or say makes you feel uncomfortable though, please let me know. I can be a bit awkward and the language barrier can cause me to have trouble picking up subtle cues, which also might make me come across as a bit overly blunt. But I don’t men to be hurtful and will do my best to correct my behavior.

Gore is something I’m not often comfortable with, please ask/warn me before it occurs? Small wounds and blood are no big deal, but anything further, I’d like to be asked about first.

ERP is something I do very rarely. You need to be over 18 for this and even then I might decide against it.

If you want to draw my character, please ask for permission about gore and NSFW stuff too. Aside from that you can draw her however you want. Just maybe keep in mind that she’s a chub! C:

Coffee Bean is a Spiritus Familiaris - a demon from German folklore. According to legend these demons looked like a mishmash of different insects and arachnids, from simple houseflies and beetles to spiders and scorpions, and were distributed in bottles and matchboxes. Within their small prisons, they constantly moved.

Owning one of them would bless the carrier with fortunate turns of their fate left and right. But in exchange, the demon dragged their soul back to hell with it if they died with the creature in their possession. The only way of passing it on was selling it for less money than it had been bought for, cursing at least one person with the inability to break their curse.

Coffee has long since fulfilled this responsibility and regained a more practical form as a result. Of her fate-bending powers, which were boosted for her mission among the mortals, she only possesses a weak echo now. She is still able to see the future - or, well... the futures. She can perceive the potential outcomes of situation and the percentage of their probabilities, which does enable her to nudge things into a positive direction at times by setting events in motion that make certain outcomes more likely. There still always is an element of luck and coincidence involved though, so feel free to defy her predictions in RP.

Her personality is a bit stiff and stoic, especially since she is careful about getting attached to others. It’s no fun to enjoy someone’s company while constantly seeing so many ways in which their life could take a turn for worse. However, she remains polite to her inferiors, and helpful to her superiors, doing her best to be a good worker.

She has a rather split idea of her own value, seeing herself as deserving of respect and being listened to, but getting easily confused when people express affection for her.
