I was a huge fan of the show, because I was 13 at the time so it was right up my alley. I remember that breakdown came out for April and it was: ‘teenage girl, quirky, has story line with Luke’ that was all the information that was given and because I was crazy and obsessed with the show I was like “*Gasp* they’re giving him a daughter! because, because they need to break up Luke and Lorelai" because they’d already broken up once and if anyone watches TV shows the main characters break up like 3 times before they ever get back together right. Sam and Diane, Ross and Rachel, like it’s a thing. So I was like tormented because I don’t want them to break up, but at the same time I want to be on Gilmore Girls.”

He loved Kelly Bishop, and when I was talking to her last night she said “please please tell everyone how sorry I am I can’t be [there] my husband is very ill”, and they literally were gonna come and he is sick and she just said I can’t make it. But please “tell everyone how much I loved being Ed’s wife.” She said “this show is my Swan song”, she loved it. Ed and I always referred to [it as] I was his wife and she was his second wife and so he would leave and I’d say ‘oh you’re going off to your second wife’ and then she’d call and she goes 'I’m sending him home.’
