The Kingdom of Ice is in the middle of a Communist rebellion by the rebel group BELLS (Bitch, Everyone Literally Loathes Snowfall) and the palace is toppled. The rebels run out of food so they execute Snowfall and eat her. Eventually they eat all the aristocrats. It was a decisive BELLS victory.

As the SkyWing have the fire-scales, so to do the other tribes, but in their own ways.
IceWings have ice-scales, dragons born with to much ice, one touch and you will freeze. The only dragons able to touch an ice-scale dragon, (Besides animus or dragons with animus touched objects) is a fire-scales dragon.
The SeaWings have water-scales, hatched in the deepest part of the ocean, and much like the giant squid, they can only survive in the deepest part of the ocean, and grow far bigger then any normal SeaWing.
There are more from the other tribes, but I can't think of any more rn. Might submit more latter.

Mudwing's scales are sludgy, and if they're away from a mudpuddle for too long they start falling apart. Don't even mention them getting into water.
Sandwings are similar, but easier. They are the sand. Basically Spiderman's Sandman. Water, again, is their weakness.
Rainwings are eternally invisible. They can't be visible. You can spot one by the layers of furs and leaves and flowers and decorations they pile ontop of themselves so they can be seen
Nightwings with this condition are only adapted to nocturnal living and the rays of the day Sun can damage their scales, eyes etc because they are extremely sensitive to light. Their scales end up absorbing too much heat during the hotter days and overheating them as they were evolved to trap heat during cold nights.
Silkwings have fire silk spinners but get this... They also have Silkwings who excrete silk from anywhere in their body. Their scales are made up of hardened silk which they have to renew periodically.
Hivewings have various abilities but, they have dragons who have scales that act like an exoskeleton like that of many insects. They need to shed the exoskeleton in a moulting process. If they don't, they'll suffocate.
Leafwings have dragons which have scales similar to trees. Their scales harden over time and thicken into bark-like matter and can be scraped off to expose a layer of green skin. This makes them weaker than average leafwings but these dragons also have very strong leafspeack.
Everytime the clones wake up there ends up being more. Just how many are you in that basement? This dimension is terrifying.
You'd have to ask @neutral-wof about that, cause apparently they know. I am not permitted to that permission, however.
