Look say what you will about riverdale. I’m lying you can’t say anything about riverdale. But the women on there were like…… so insane it made me want to jump up and down. Women are NEVER allowed to be as feral with no consequences in media as they were in riverdale. Betty didn’t have a maternal bone in her body and it was just like a normal trait of hers??? Cheryl was downright cruel a lot of the time and she was ALLOWED TO BE. She got nicer but only to the main cast bc they befriended her. Veronica loved illegal business practices and she murdered her dad and she was never even in DANGER of going to prison. I love this show. Let women be people like they are on riverdale…

- Alice Cooper Was There. Well yes she was <3 she was a horrible but also complex mother without a maternal bone in her body and she told her serial killer husband to kill himself because he was kinda mid and only managed to take out one guy. She joined a cult. She sent her pregnant daughter to a nunnery. She was so perfect in every way.

- Archie’s mom was a bisexual deadbeat. God I think she is so iconic. She gets divorced from a man and a woman and she ditched her 16 y/o son to find herself. She should marry me. Signing up to be Mrs Archie’s Mom The Third today.

- I forgot also Cheryl’s mom was a serial poisoner who killed a ton of people and when they found out they were like fuck… don’t do that Penelope Blossom :/ and she was like okay my bad I’m just a girl (50 y/o woman btw) and they were like okay just DONT do it again.

In essence the Riverdale moms were just as fucked up because being an insane woman who refuses to get better and projects all her horrible trauma onto people isn’t reserved for being young <3 you can also be a murderer and sleep around in your upper middle age <3 and the narrative will never condemn you. Love u riverdale
