Blue - TOBBAR (Kingfisher)
Feisty, small, and very, very blue. Tobbar recognized Gansey as Blue’s true love immediately, but chose to let her figure it out herself. Pecking at Blue’s hair clips is his favorite pastime.
Gansey - OTTILIE (german longhaired pointer)
A loyal and beautiful brown dog. Gansey’s parents were so happy when Ottilie settled as something so appropriate for Congressional banquets. However, Ottilie is much happier running around in fields alongside Gansey, chasing nothing and feeling the simmer of adventure across her fur.
Adam - LAURE (maned wolf)
Laure is tall and skinny, with fur like dirt and legs black like they were dipped in tar. Laure is quiet and observant, rarely speaking to others. Teachers originally tried to herd her to the corner of the classroom specified for larger daemons to wait without obstructing the aisle, but she refused to leave Adam’s side.
Ronan - CHERMAW (common raven) (No, her real name isn’t Chainsaw. Only Ronan is allowed to call her that smh)
Chermaw, like Ronan, is very physical; she enjoys tearing things up, going through trash and singing along to Ronan’s music. Chermaw is immediately enamored with Laure after Adam became part of their friend group, following her around and bringing her little gifts she found.
Holly is a good-natured white giant that is entirely content to follow Noah around as Noah follows everyone else around. She loves to play with Ronan’s daemon. The only time she ever got aggressive was trying to protect Noah from Whelk.
Maura - NICODEMUS (hoary fox)
Nicodemus is a very levelheaded, sensible fox that greets clients when they walk in for their appointment, showing them into the reading room. He has a terrible taste for mimosas.
Calla - KNOX (bat-eared fox)
Knox is a gruff daemon that won’t hesitate to bite fingers off if they come too close. Really, really hates it when people touch his ears.
Persephone - ARFIN (fennec fox)
More ear than fox, Arfin is serene and kind. He is content to travel around in the nest of Persephone’s hair and helps her carry her house keys.
Orla - NEMESIO (bengal cat)
Nemesio rarely leaves Orla’s room, much preferring to lounge on his jeweled bed and laugh with Orla at the letters her admirers send. However, when he does leave the house, he drapes himself around Orla’s shoulders as a beautiful stole.
Declan - LEONOR (brown bear)
One of the largest daemons ever to walk the halls of Aglionby. Unlike the other Lynch brother daemons, Leonor settled into her final form very late. She was constantly changing into whatever animal Niall Lynch seemed to like best at the time.
Matthew - LUCIE (capybara)
One of the most amicable daemons in Henrietta. Content to trot along behind Matthew and nuzzle every daemon she meets, Lucie has never spoken a word.
Aurora - ELORA (fallow deer)
Elora is a graceful creature with a lyrical voice and large black eyes that welcome the world. When the boys were growing up, Aurora would send Elora out into the yard to keep an eye on their playing.
Like Niall, Bowen was brash and eager to fight. His antlers were constantly slamming into other daemons in bar fights. On the rare times when Niall was home, Bowen would take long walks with Elora around the woods by the Barns.
Henry - MIN (yellow-throated marten)
Clever and slight, Min is quick to laugh and quick to dazzle. She is very talkative and outspoken, well-read in politics and very agreeable with most daemons.
Kavinsky - RADKA (spotted hyena)
Radka never stops grinning, her constant laugh manic and hoarse. Her pupils are constantly blown wide, and she can be very unstable and dangerous. In Kavinsky’s junior year, Aglionby ordered for Radka to be muzzled on campus. She always takes shotgun in the Mitsubishi.
Mr. Gray - ASTRID (snow leopard)
Very calm and easy to get along with, but also knows how to quickly rip out someone’s throat. Likes Mr. Gray to read old english prose to her.
Gwenllian - MORDRED (british primitive goat)
Likes to eat everything in sight and only talks in riddles. Constantly tries to skewer people on his horns.
