are both beautiful meanings that deserve your thought, consideration and respect.

It is your responsibility as an audience member to do your research and become mindful on both Isn't She Lovely's intended meaning and new interpretation. That way, you are better aware of both Black and transgender experiences, which are both equally beautiful and fulfilling to learn and have solidarity with.

Does anyone else feel too old for modern internet culture lately?

I'm 24 and grew up with the internet but no matter where I go, every discussion, discourse and drama sends me back to my teenhood days in the unhealthiest of ways.

My mind feels much clearer the more boundaries I set online.

Even the language is getting harder to code-switch to lately.

It's just too quick and shortened and harder to determine the authentic meaning off… and also a lot meaner!

Social media's systemic effects on communication is being very felt lately.
