Vacation is great rn but i keep looking wistfully out the window and thinking fondly of my chromebook at home where i can write fanfiction

I get home from my trip and my brother immediately is showing me a song he’s learnt on piano

I adore him too much for words.

He randomly pulled up the song on tik tok and was like “i bet i could play that” and then ran to the piano in the other living room and proceeded to actually play it with all the careful stumbling of someone who has been practicing for the past few days. He was practicing that while i was out of the house. Did he do this just for that fucking bit i genuinely thought he was gonna play horribly for the joke he is actually playing a beautiful song rn

He immediately comes back to sit on the couch and pretends like he has no idea what im talking about when i ask what song it is. “You play well” “huh? Play what. What play. Songs??? Shut up”

And then two minutes later he’s running back to go play it again. He’s practicing the second half now.
