Maybe this is just because I’m begging for breadcrumbs of Luis content but TO ME one of the most interesting parts of his life is his time spent working for Los Illuminados,,,

Like if you do the maths backwards he was there for FIVE YEARS. And he was the ONLY SCIENTIST to make it out alive!!! I wanna know what his day to day life trapped in those labs looked like!! How many of those years were spent completely alone and isolated from anyone else??? I wanna know if he had to watch his friends and coworkers all die one by one or if some of them volunteered to be tested on and now Luis has to live with that guilt on his conscious too. I wanna know if he ever tried to escape or if there was just genuinely no way out. I wanna know if working with Las Plagas on his own all day every day drove him mad or if he just dissociated from it all. I wanna know how he felt and if he ever broke down and cried. Do you understand me

#this is just me word vomiting with no real analysis or direction… i watched and rewatched iron lung and project hail mary and the thought of #luis being completely isolated and slowly going mad while trying to keep himself together has been very much so on my mind because of it lol #i know we never really get an answer as to why luis joined los illuminados (in the same way that we have a few clear reasons for why he #wanted to join umbrella; he wanted to help people and he was raised sheltered and had an insatiable hunger for knowledge that umbrella took #advantage of) but it’s of myyyyyy personal opinion that it probably wasn’t luis’ or any other scientists choice to work for them or not.#like he probably ran back to valdelobos expecting a place to hide and instead got roped into working on las plagas against his will #i have many reasons for why i think this but that’s another post. that i may forget to make entirely hdbdhxjdn #<- keeping my prev tags !!
