I included sources in a reblog or two, plus more for a couple other controversies involving the film. nolan talks about the practical effects that damaged the historical site, a cave in Greece, in numerous interviews because it was for a giant puppet. the rigging did the damage and there’s bts photos circulating online. waiting for an official outlet to pick up that story specifically.
