Absolutely Lovely || Grand Ball || Bianca and Cyril
"Oh heâs here! We arrived together⌠I do believe he just managed to find himself someone to chat to⌠not much of a dancer you see⌠Heâll share a dance with me but he is quite shy." She laughed, a gently laugh that betrayed her fondness for her partner that would seem so natural to someone who thought they were married. But to one who knew her, perhaps it would give away her true feelings for the clumsy, superstitious young man. "Oh I donât mind, I am not going anywhere." She waved lightly. Excusing her date, knowing he was just being himself. Well, that and they werenât really married. Nor even dating. They were just business partners. Though that was to be kept to themselves.
"Shy but would rather a conversation than dancing with his wife?" That didn't make much sense to Cyril, but he shrugged, not one to have a problem with that. Though he wasn't shy, he was antisocial, and here he was doing almost the same exact thing. He hadn't had a date originally, however, so maybe it wasn't the same. Still, he couldn't help but almost regret the fact that he didn't have anyone to go with, though he rarely thought about such things. The little laugh that escaped the woman's lips made him almost wistful. Even he couldn't help but think it'd be a wonderful thing to have someone think about him the way she seemed to think about her husband. "As long as he isn't being rude," Cyril offered a slight smile. Though he was no where close to a gentleman, he was fond enough of the dancers at the club to hate it when someone was rude to them, and apparently he wasn't fond of anyone doing that to any woman, if this was proof.
