Lola loves popcorn :3
Episode 1, and an insane quality to boot.
i think the single most unrealistic part of superman 2025 was when it was announced that superman's kryptonian parents told him to have a harem and it was exclusively met with fear and disgust. I KNOW there would've been at least five dedicated subreddits that would have thousands being like HOW TO GET INTO SUPERMAN'S HAREM PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ONE SHOT BIG BLUE THAT'S ALL I'M ASKING
And then there would be people on Tumblr who also want to be in Superman's harem, but the difference is that they would be trying to get Superman pregnant.
This is what I saw when I first opened this website this morning. I love this website.

happy pride month my friends <3
those were the days... Picture the scene: Monty Python's Flying Circus ran from 1969 to 1974. Nothing, I mean nothing, had been seen like this before on TV. To really appreciate their courage and brilliance you need to know something about these days when gay marriage was not even on the horizon and most people would lose their employment if they were outed at work. The first Pride Parade was in 1970 and it was only in 1973 that the American Psychiatric Association in their generosity declared that homosexuality was not a mental disorder. Being LGBTQ+ was gradually decriminalized in various parts of the UK and a bit later in the US starting slowly in the late '60's.
Meanwhile, Monty Python was winning over hearts and minds through the funny bone. Groundbreaking.
I think Graham Chapman, the 4th man to join the scene, being gay and being a member of Monty Python is worth noting. He had a partner, David Sherlock, and was publicly open with his homosexuality as early as 1972. I just think it makes a difference in how Monty Python treated queerness in sketches when one of their members, their good friends and collaborators, is himself gay.
Absolutely don't tell us anything you don't want to, but did Alyssum end up feeling better? I've been thinking of her and you. 💜
Unfortunately she is, uh, feeling better along the same lines as "all bleeding stops eventually"...
There we go. Some abstract sweet alyssum flowers and now her box, collar, and pawprint have been added to the "dearly departed" cabinet which uh... has 16 boxes in it between personal pets and particularly beloved foster kittens and puppies.
This is the greatest insult in the history of television.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
Washington Post is paywalling the article but it looks like Taylor Farms — a consumer bagged salad brand that also supplies produce to grocers and fast food chains like Taco Bell, Walmart, McDonald's, Chipotle, Burger King, KFC, and Meijer —may be at least one of the sources of the current cyclosporiasis outbreak.
Taylor makes bagged greens, salad kits, chopped salads, the works. Keep avoiding supermarket greens, but keep an especially close eye out for this brand/supplier. The above list of grocers and fast food chains is NOT exhaustive, so please continue getting lettuce and other raw produce taken off your burgers, sandwiches, etc.
Their other brand is EARTHBOUND ORGANICS!!!
a defunct steak sandwich place is a kind of dead wife
the north york and scarborough locations are still open but they take so fucking long to get to
this picture actually fucking UNDERSELLS how good these are. the buns are like 7 inches long and they pile the ingredients up so high they used to serve it open-face. all the hot ingredients (beef chunks, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms) are all scrambled together and cooked on a flat top grill
I miss her but she used to be on the way to get errands done and not a 2+hour round trip on transit

I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy
