Ok so asked around and a friend of mine found this in a RWBY World Building thread on Space Battles.

The user who posted this in the thread noted that even in the book the text is super tiny but with the aid of a magnifying class did their best to transcribe it accurately.

Atlas would totally have theories about why it’s floating. There some dude on Remnant’s YouTube and Twitch trying to prove that gravity dust can’t hold up a region that size, and everyone is like “yeah ok let’s get you back to bed.”

Random worldbuilding: there's a region in the country with a strong culture of offering homecooked dishes as gifts for all occasion. And over time, they have accumulated an entire category of dishware that aren't any particular individual's property - they are constantly in rotation, being gifted and re-gifted as the dish holding a pie, a casserole, loaf of bread, the list goes on. Once a gift dish is in your possession, you need to make something in it as a gift in return - not necessarily to the one you received it from, but to someone nonetheless.

They're called lovers' dishes, but not for any romantic reasons. The name was adopted after people started deeming the previous name, courtesan bowls, inappropriate. The term courtesan bowl was also a slightly more cleaned-up term replacing a previous one, as the dishware were originally known as slut cups. As they, you understand, they get around.

one more thing. if a character ascends to godhood/divinity/some form of power that makes them practically omnipotent and no longer human. and they had a partner before that who didn’t rise with them. you are legally required to make that situation as terrifying as it would rightly be. it’s bad enough to get the attention of a god. it is ruinous to be loved by one. that is not the person you knew anymore. that is something that never has to let you leave, or have secrets, or disobey it. it will fix every problem you so much as glance at, and it will shower you in grace and gifts until you drown, and it will make you a holy artifact in its own story. you have to understand, it doesn’t remember how horrible death is, so it strikes you to cinders like a snide comment and brings you back with an apology it needs you to accept. that is how it’s going to love you forever, because it might not be inclined to let you die.

Don't pretend like Data wouldn't immediately be the doctor's best friend in under ten minutes. Like,,,, Data's whole deal would be catnip to that man. A unique lifeform who'll live indefinitely and is intensely curious about literally everything. In addition, the doctor is fucking infatuated with humans and humans are essentially Datas special interest, they'd info dump back and forth until the end of time (they literally could do that).

(to be clear, this is about nine because I think he's the most compelling one and the picture made me think of him)

They also both have the experience of making intense connections with humans that they KNOW will die first. Both particularly protective of children. They have the same brand of optimism, they both believe that even though unspeakable shit does and will happen, it doesn't negate the beauty and value of living. Both have met Mark twain. They have weirdly similar shit going on as far as the dynamic with their respective nemeses Lore and the Master (intensely evil dude is resentful and obsessed with you but also kinda wants to be your best friend, fucked in the head enough that he might not be considered fully culpable for his actions but he's dangerous enough that you're gonna have to put him down like a stray dog one day even though there's a glimmer of a chance that you could have fixed him if you tried harder, if you knew how).

I also think Data would be interested in how and why the Doctor emulates humans so effectively. He'd wanna know about how one processes the level of emotion caused by your whole fucking species dying (nine only content remember). They'd have a lot of weird ass conversations about emotions in general.

That'd be the main conflict I think. Like, the ninth doctor is uniquely touchy about a lot of shit and Data would absolutely not pick up on that and keep asking questions. The Doctor would also fully not be having it with the "I do not have emotions" shit and I think he'd push a little too hard a little too soon.

our big bads are either lore and the master teaming up or an alliance or conflict between the borg and daleks/cybermen

there’s definitely a medbay scene where dr. crusher scans jack and the doctor, possibly after the fistfight

picard does not like jack, especially following this scene

rose is my go-to companion for this because donna noble would also get into a fistfight with picard, if not worf, but martha would also be an outstanding addition

data is fascinating less because he’s an android and more because he’s one-of-a-kind (and a delight). data is fascinated with the tardis because it’s one-of-a-kind. 

the tardis likes geordi because he’s an angel and the doctor is very jealous

troi takes one look at the doctor and is like “on god we gon get you some therapy” and spends there rest of the ep refusing to be brushed off

the doctor and jack are two yappy all-powerful dogs on rose tyler’s leash and that made her the most powerful being in the universe long before bad wolf. this remarkable human civillian is the one to save the day at the very last second

Ten and the DS9 Crew would be molto bene. Especially if he’s with Martha or Donna. Though, Nine with Rose and Jack would be fantastic, too. Especially if Jack is just hitting on everyone, Julian, Jadzia, Garak, Ben, Worf, everyone.

Ten and Donna.  The TARDIS lands on the streets of London in Julian’s ‘60s spy holoprogram.  At first Ten is confused because everything looks right but the sonic says only one of these people is real.  Julian thinks it’s one of Felix’s famous tweaks, even after he gets taken inside the TARDIS (after all, a holosuite is effectively bigger on the inside too).

I think the best Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover would be Series 1/DS9. Specifically the NineRoseJack TARDIS team and pre Dominion War arc DS9. They’re both crusty and glowy and grungy and about the trauma of war.

Imagine if you will,

• Nine would Hate Starfleet commanders and would act like Sisko did in Emissary. (Quote from Russell in The Writer’s Tale “In an official crossover, the Doctor would have had to learn that Starfleet is wonderful” Not on DS9 babey!) But then Nine would see Sisko do something Practical and Pragmatic™️ and think hmm actually he’s not so bad.

• Nine and Jadzia bonding over having previous lives - “You used to be an old man? I used to be an old man!”

• Jack and Julian would lock eyes, introduce themselves and then immediately go and find a supply cupboard to make out in.

• Miles would actually get along really well with Nine and Julian would go “He’s English, yet you like him straight away?!” And Miles would go “you’re from the South, you wouldn’t get it”

• Rose would hang out with Leeta because she always befriends the working class women near her.

I’m sure there are loads of other fun interactions to think of!

I'm telling you guys. SIX days per week. THIRTY days per month. TWELVE months per year. A thirteenth "liminal month" of five days (six on leap years) between years, which is considered a holiday period.

Six day week is superior to seven because a prime number week is stupid. There's a lot of things that people like to do every second or third day; in a six day week, this is always the same days each week.

All months are the same length. Advantages obvious.

Thirty days is a good round number for a month; it can be divided into so many smaller numbers. Convenient for things that need to be done regularly; you can do them on the same days each month and have the gaps between them all exactly the same.

Every month in a given year starts with the same day. If the 3rd is a Wednesday, every 3rd will be a Wednesday. This is a massive help in scheduling bullshit that ends up happening "second Tuesday of every month" or whatever, and also helps people track regular monthly things (if you have a monthly meeting on the 15th, it's going to be the same day of the week every time). Fitting weeks perfectly into months just offer so many improvements for scheduling and remembering stuff.

The days move back with each non-leap year -- if the 1st of every month in 2025 is a Tuesday, the 1st in every month in 2026 will be a Monday. (This also happens with out current calendar as neither 6 nor 7 fit into 365). This means that if your birthday is on a Monday or whatever, it won't be that way every year -- only the same day of the month WITHIN THE YEAR (2 years in a row for leap years) is the same. (I bring this up because last time I mentioned this people didn't do the math and thought that the days of the week would be consistent across years, somehow, mysteriously).

Holiday transition period between years. You know you want it. People treat the Christmas-New Year's period like this already when their work lets them do it. Make it official.
