the truth is, i loved the dsmp more than i had loved anything in a long time, and i loved it purely and openly and fully. loved it for its amazing moments and with all its flaws and inconsistencies. and i loved all of its creators and contributors for who they were and who i knew them to be at the time, and i dont feel bad for it or even regret it. i just miss it. i miss all the love that seeped into every single aspect of the server. ill probably love it forever.

unfortunately feel a little sick sense of vindication at the reveal that lore threads in qsmp had no end goal. i was saying it around the 4/5/6 month mark that i really wanted to start getting answers to stuff, and by the 8 month mark i was a little frustrated that none seemed to be in sight, but i was willing to keep waiting since everything was so much fun regardless. bc qsmp seemed like such an ideal way to enact the type of lore loreheads dreamed of having during the dsmp days. something overarching that effected everyone, but with enough room to allow changes into what it needed to be and space for CCs to improv. i dont remember at what month of qsmp the brazil trip/ordem paranormal was but i remember telling my irl that i hoped that actually playing what is more or less D&D would have a positive influence on quackity's creative output since he had said he'd never played it before. but of course, this was when i was still under the assumption that he was much more involved at the higher levels of the server than he ???? apparently was ???? big big sighs i wish i knew what kind of long-term plan or future for the server q was planning. it would be one thing if the world was JUST the setting of "islanders on an island that have to follow rules" but otherwise a normal mc server where cultures could cross, but there was the ARG elements, the hints, the clues, always the promise of a mystery to be solved. at some point i started doubting if that was the case somewhat early on. bit sad to see i was right.

Bad news, @noodelzmop. Arbitration basically means that if you want to sue Discord for whatever reason, the dispute needs to be handled in house. Specifically, in their house. If you don't get this email out, you're basically signing away your right to legal recourse if they do criminally shitty stuff to you, like with the McDonalds app.

With the Email you used for your discord account is enough for the notice but take this with a grain of salt as this was not said by a lawyer

- davis is so cute in his soccer uniform 😭 my favorite boyo

- 01 gets soo goofy w the dub sometimes but I kinda feel like 02 gets even goofier with it but in less fun ways? 😭

-this is kind of the episode that kicks off the daiken dynamic... making davis beg was insane actually 💀 not ken calling him pretty boy ⁉️

- davis who is so rude to tk to his face and refuses to call him by his correct name, when stressing over which of his friends to save does correctly refer to him as tk 😭 theyre friends!

even in my old age i have so much nostalgia for the davis/ken ship/dynamic, they were baby's first ship before i even knew what shipping was. 😭 I just think ken is probably the most dynamic character in 02 and his redemption arc and friendship with davis is really special 😭

theres a part after an interview ken does where his manager leans into his ear and says something to him that pisses him off. I'm guessing in the og jp it must have been something kind of nefarious?? bc in the dub its him asking ken how to beat a level in a video game called "Donkey Madness" 💀 anyways, later in the ep kens mom and dad start to worry about what ken is doing locked in his room all day and night. his dad asks his mom: "when you met with his teacher the other day, did he say anything at all to you?" and his mom says "No, all his teacher could talk about was something called Donkey Madness", to which is dad reacts "Donkey Madness ⁉️😨" and they proceed to break into his room 💀

this is kind of what i mean by the 02 dub taking liberties with being goofy but in less fun ways. like this whole scene became practically nonsensical 🥴

rahhhh i dont want to keep harping on 02 but like. they're about to go on a mission to save agumon and yolei says she doesn't want to go. i NEED to know what the original lines are bc tai says something out of pocket and everyone is like oh ok if ur gonna stay can u do my math homework for me thanks. like ????

god and the episode started with tk kari and davis running into the computer room and Davis saying like "sorry we're late i had an appointment for a haircut!" 😭 like ik we're being silly goofy but not even an Attempt to keep the momentum going from the last ep? like we're about to go on a rescue mission to save one of the most prolific characters 😭

The manager/teacher/whoever it was asked Ken if he would like to tutor his daughter. Ken brushes it off claiming he's too young & inexperienced. Then the guy asks for an autograph (presumably also for his daughter).

His parents were just worried because Ken hadn't left his room since the soccer game & his teachers gave up because he was so much smarter than they were. They were basically just trying to talk to him.

In the beginning of the next episode, Takeru, Hikari, & Daisuke were explaining to Taichi they were late because another student started playing hockey with broomsticks. Everyone got yelled at by the teachers. Hikari says it's her fault for not stopping them.

No one asks Miyako to do any homework. If she's not feeling up to the fight, then it's better if she doesn't go. They were always good about giving people the mental space they needed. The later scene with Miyako indicates that Agumon being abducted & Evil Ringed showed her that this wasn't a picnic. It was serious.

I have all of Digimon subbed so if you are curious about anything else, give me an episode & I'll look it up!

Ahh ok that makes more sense. I knew that it. well. definitely wasnt a conversation about Donkey Madness they were having 💀but i didnt think it could be toooooo nefarious, as its just a kids show. that slots in perfectly to being annoying enough of a request for ken to get mad about it. Same with his parents, i knew that they were probably just worried about how much time he spends locked in his room but the framing around Donkey Madness was bizarre 🥴 I dont understand why they changed this 😭 The dub is too goofy with it, in eng its something like davis had a haircut appointment, then decided he didnt need one, and tk says "yeah but the problem was you were looking at yourself in the mirror for an hour!" The real thing can be just as silly without...being wildly nonsensical 😩 Thanks for your response! In a lot of these scenes i can even sometimes guesstimate what the original subject matter might be, but other times like these im just left like ???????
