I get people who are like âwhy do you play Bethesda gamesâ and itâs like what other game studio lets me pick up basically everything in my environment and throw it at people
The Bethesda fallout games have the junk jet which is literally a giant gun that can shoot all of the random clutter you collect at people. You can kill people with a teddy bear shot out of a canon at Mach 5 and if that isnât hilarious to you then I donât think we can get along.
Iâm as big of a starfield hater as you can find but it kept the Bethesda clutter that you can pick up thing which is wonderful because you can collect houseplants and drop them all over the presidentâs desk if you want to.
See thatâs what I miss in other open world video games. In so many of them you can see the pizza box but you canât make a collection of a thousand pizza boxes and block the road with them.
In oblivion if I want to flood the imperial palace with cabbages and I have the will to go out and collect enough cabbages then nobody will stop me from doing that.
I think a lot about how in Morrowind you can sometimes convince people who would otherwise attack you on sight to hear you out and have an actual conversation with you by stripping naked before you talk to them. I understand its a semi-unintended consequence of the nudity lines having higher priority than they should, but its really funny to imagine that these murdering assassins are just so flabbergasted by the chosen hero of prophecy turning up naked and trying to negotiate that it just stunlocks their brains into forgetting they had to kill you.
Nibani Maesa is your NUMBER 1 as Nerevarine. Sheâs the leader and guardian of the Nerevarine Cult, and a vital role within the main quest and in guiding you throughout the prophecies. Not to mention, just look at her (^С^)~âĄ
Todayâs timelapse is his clothing, which was a lot of fun to paint.
Hoping to get the Breton sketched tomorrow and hopefully make a start on painting it over the weekend - I have an essay due though, so Iâm not sure if Iâll have the time.
