Greetings, fellow deviants Finally I was able to finish a drawing this year. Now with a baby it is very difficult to find the time and the will to do one. Either you don't have time or you are tired. I was supposed to do this one for Halloween... and here we are... in February. XD I have been trying some cool art tutorials from Marc Brunet on Youtube. If you want to learn some tips you should definitely go there. Today I bring you Vera and Cheila from my book "Os sete Punhais de Mëlua". Vera and Cheila have a bit of opposing personalities, with Cheila being individualist and Vera altruist, this is also noticed by their colour schemes, which are opposite as well. Although, Vera's main colours are blue, which is the colour of Cheila's Virtue and Cheila's main colour is green, which is the colour of Vera's Virtue. This serves to highlight that, even though they are different, you can still find a bit of one in the other. Kiss Kiss Have fun

Greetings, fellow artists How is life going? I am enjoying some days in good old Portugal with my baby. Seeing him grow everyday is such a gift, but also very exhausting. I can no longer stay an entire afternoon drawing like before, as now I have to attend to him so he can develop into a fully functioning child. Took the chance that now I have the help from mine and my boyfriend's family to be with the baby so I can draw a little. I am still trying some new things, some I have watched in Marc Brunet and I have also used some of his free brushes to help with it. In today's drawing I bring you a small ballerina statue I have in my bedroom since I was a preteen. I decided to use something small and simple just for practice and choose to share it here, so I took the photo and then drew and painted it. Stay safe! Kiss kiss

It has been long since I have posted something. Now that I have a baby, it has been hard to find time to do a proper artwork. Still, I wanted to do something for practice and to not lose my art skills. Today I bring you Leaf Green (or Blue in JP) with the Sygna Suit from Pokémon Masters EX. Leaf was always one of my favourite protagonists from the games. I was happy when she got a design for Let's Go as Green, but still hoped we could see more from her in the main series. For this picture I used as reference the stock image Sailor Bunny 3 from AdorkaStock. I have also been checking the youtube channel Marc Brunet for some tips on colouring and so on, since it has been so long since I have done something. Have fun! Kiss Kiss

To celebrate Children's Day, here is a picture of Sbedjmau with his son, Nebu from my book "Os sete punhais de Mëlua". The two are taking a comfortable walk in Atlantis. 

Time for some background story: When Sbedjmau and Amaunet got divorced, Nebu was still a baby. Due to the fact that previous to their marriage, Sbedjmau had renounced to all his rights as an heir to his grandparents, when they were presented to a judge, he was quick to give full custody of the child to the mother, being Sbedjmau only allowed to see him once every two weeks and forced to pay half of all his income to Amaunet as child support. Upon entering the New Blood Army, Sbedjmau moved from Egypt to Atlantis and as so, was separated from his child for a long time, but continued to write him to know how he was doing and telling him how his life in the Army was going. After the New Blood raid on the Moon, Sbedjmau came as one of the Seven Champions and could hug his child once more. This is also when the Pharaoh Rá is informed that Sbedjmau has a child and, even though Sbedjmau could not claim the throne, Nebu was still an heir to the Pharaoh and the Pharaoh holds the rights to all his heirs. Rá asks Sbedjmau if he wants to be granted full custody of the child, but Sbedjmau's pride and rage get the better of him, refusing the own a favour to his ruler. This piece to long to make :( I wanted it to be ready for the Chinese New Year, but I ended up delaying it a bit. Today I bring you Kuroryou, Qixi and Vera celebrating the Chinese New Year. When building this piece I knew I wanted to add Qixi, since he is Chinese, but I was not sure which other characters to include. Ultimately I decided to add Kuroryou and Vera, since they would fit better with the theme :) All three characters belong to my book "Os sete punhais de Mëlua". Have fun!

I dressed them with something related to the character or their culture. Greetings, fellow deviants Celebrating the Michaelmas that started on September 29th, here is a drawing of Saint Michael (São Miguel in Portuguese). Miguel is one of the main characters of my book "Os sete punhais de Mëlua" In this Copic Colors made image, I bring to you an older Miguel, in his Archangel garments, wielding the unique Spear of the Disgraced, a weapon from God and Mother Nature that can take the shape of any weapon and it is made of the completed Virtue of Strength. As a reference to his pose, I have used the Archangel Michael bronze statue from Castel Sant'Angelo Enjoy!
