I personally can’t stand when people I just met hug me (I really gotta learn to reject that and not reciprocate.) It’s gonna take years to get to that level and even then it should be occasional

Iʻm that way too. Heck, a lot of the time I donʻt even like it when people Iʻve known for years who are friends/family hug/touch me- I have to either initiate it or be allowed to meet them halfway. Depends on the person. 

It just always grinds my gears when people will twist platonic affection into something itʻs not. People have a right to show others affection without it being twisted.
