Gracie! I’m totes excited about getting Qudditch underway. I think with the news and everything breaking, everyone needs something to focus on … and what’s more fun than Qudditch? I’m super excited about being one of the Chasers for Ravenclaw with Mace. It’s going to be a spectacular year!

Everyone should be, honestly! It’s the best! I bet the Ravenclaw team jumped at having the two of you on the team. Don’t twins have some kind of telepathy or something? I bet that’d help during a match.

Well uhh- Hate to break it to you Gracie, but I’m pretty sure that it’s kinda probably pretty real. I know some people think badly of the Quibbler, but it did a lot of good, during the last war. But positive news I can definitely get behind. You ready to kick total ass this year? Cause i’m kinda looking forward to that one.

Well, until it’s real real, I’m not going to lose any sleep over it. Totally. We’ve got some newbies that are definitely going to help make this the best team yet. I’m expecting to win, so I’m super pumped.

I know right! I think we just need to think more possibly and trust that the Ministry will protect us. I’m sure they won’t let people hurt us! And we have superheroes that can protect us! I’m glad that Clara is the new seeker and Melanie is part of your team now too. Clara definitely looks up to you so I’m sure she’ll give her 100% effort like you always do. I can’t wait for the season to start so I can watch you and cheer for you and aHhHh, it’s just exciting!

I hope they’ll protect us, but I’m not going to start worrying until there is enough proof that I do need to worry. Until then, Quidditch! I’m sure she will too. Plus, as our seeker, she has too. I know! And you better cheer so loud that I’ll be able to hear you on the pitch, it boosts my morale.

I know the Quibbler is a very unreliable news source but I just can’t help to worry, y’know? If we just ignore it and carry on with our lives then it turns out to be true, we won’t be prepared enough to defend ourselves. I say take it with a grain of salt but also prepare just in case. But I’m happy you’re remaining optimistic, Gracie. Quidditch season will totally be fun.

It’s normal to worry, but some people are making a huge deal out of something that hasn’t even been confirmed to be true. And I agree, we should be aware of this, but we shouldn’t be preparing for battle or anything. It will be. The team is looking awesome this year, so everyone else should step up their game.

Now that’s what I’m talking about. What’s the use in worrying when it’s not exactly going to get us anywhere? Quidditch and next month’s ball are all way more exciting than some boogieman-esque group that can’t even come up with a good name.

Exactly. There’s no need to worry when we don’t have all the facts, so instead, we should focus on other things, that won’t give people panic attacks. And the ball is too far away for me to think about it, Quidditch is definitely at the top of my list.

Nothing was confirmed, and no one said anything about war. I have priorities, and right now it’s to focus on things like Quidditch practice, and not on some brotherhood that could be blown out of proportion, or not even exist. Once we get more information, and if this becomes confirmed as an actual threat, then I’ll bump it up to the top of my list.

It’s so hard to completely ignore it though. There’s so much going on even if it doesn’t all make sense. I am looking forward to the Ravenclaw recruits though! This year’s going to be totes even better.

We don’t have to completely ignore it, but we also don’t have to get too worked up over things we aren’t 100 percent sure of. I’m not going to lie, I really only paid attention to the Gryffindor try outs and team list, but if you’re excited, I’m sure they must be good.

Oh, gosh, my answer’s different all the time. Today I was reading A Midsummer Night’s Dream since Lysander told me he’s named after the character in that and not after the Spartan warrior.

I don’t know, maybe you could learn new techniques or something! But I don’t really read flying books so I have no idea.

If I wanted to learn new techniques I’d just go to my dad, or practice them until I got them down. Reading a book won’t help with that. It’s a good suggestion, though.

I mean, when you’re friends with the queen of the Keepers, that needs to come in handy eventually, right? There’s no way I’d be good enough to learn all your skills, but maybe you could tell me something I could do better after we play Slytherin in a couple weeks? Learning from the best is almost as fun as beating the best.

I could help you train for the Slytherin game. I mean, we all know you won’t be beating Gryffindor this year, but I can try to help you beat Slytherin. Maybe you guys could even come in second place for the Quidditch House cup.

Yeah, because it’s been a figment of my imagination that all of the bad things that have happened over the past year haven’t happened. Do you think I could go into the Leaky Cauldron and ask for Fran’s mum? Or maybe how about the past two World Cups?

I didn’t say that didn’t happen, I’m just saying we don’t know where these rumors are coming from, or who, and it’s better to wait until we have all the facts from people we can trust before we start freaking out over things. We just focus on positive things, instead of some big bad club we aren’t even sure exists.
