gee! i sure do love this complex female character with COMPLEX thoughts and COMPLEX feelings and COMPLEX reasons for her actions. surely the fandom wont villainize her and make her into a irredeemable monster for doing something even slightly unkind! (male character has done something a 100x worse.) looks at social media oh! well surely they wont water down her character into a single trait and/or only examine her at surface level and then proceed to misunderstand her entire personality, motives, and values! looks at social media again oh.

I am once again begging people to realize that AI checker doesn’t work. it’s never worked. it’s notoriously known to have flagged human-made works as AI and AI-generated works as human-made. and by feeding it people’s works, you are feeding more works to AI, because apparently the machine itself is AI.

the only thing AI checker does is harm genuine artists and people in general too.

guys imagine. imagine being in love with your best friend. imagine traveling with them for 13 months and a day, foregoing everything you know, leaving your home without a second thought, being in constant danger together, doing everything you can to keep your best friend alive. imagine literally saving the world with your strength and love for your best friend. imagine being able to resist the most powerful evil in the world because of your love for your best friend. imagine after all that, they’re shell shocked and lifeless, and you know they’re not in a place where they can be with you, even though they feel the same way towards you. imagine settling down, getting married, having kids, doing what you’re “supposed to do”, just so you can maintain a normal life for your best friend’s sake and keep watch over them. then imagine they find their spark again, something that brings their light back. the old version of them, untouched by trauma and harm. AND THEN IMAGINE THEY IMMEDIATELY LEAVE TO A FAR OFF LAND YOU CAN NEVER TRAVEL TO AND THEY CAN NEVER RETURN FROM.

And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…

Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.
