COVID-19 has taught me that the word *travel* doesn’t only have to mean getting on a ✈️ to a destination 2,000+ miles away. . ❕Traveling was the week or two out of the year, I felt more eager and curious to learn about another way of life. Going through ancient roads in an unfamiliar place was the thrill I was hungry to indulge in. What may I discover next? 🔍 . 💡During this lockdown, I’ve asked myself, how can I bring this spirit of adventure into my weekends? Into my every day? What may I discover by getting on my bicycle 🚲 (my current mode of travel)? . And so I pedaled off. Within a few hours, I experienced such a variety of terrain and surprise, I realized travel has nothing to do about “going to a place” It’s a state of mind. I allowed my curiosity to take charge as the changing sky and winding roads led me to embracing the beauty in the moment. Encountering landscapes while speeding on my bike and even saying hello to a horse. 🐴 . The meaning of travel has evolved. What might be discovered next?
