You and soda had been fighting a lot recently and it was always about something stupid. Last night you fought again about how he went to the rodeo instead of going to your doctor's appointment. "Where were you I went to the doctor without you! I'm pregnant with your child and you can't even be there for me?!"
"well, it's only been a month since we found out, I thought it wouldn't matter!"
" It's still important soda!" You walked into your room and slammed the door sending a picture of young sodapop flying down the stairs. You changed your clothes and went to bed, not wanting anything to do with him for the rest of the night.
You woke up at 6:00 just like every other day to rain. Darry normally takes you to work so you got there on time, like always. Your day was pretty boring, I mean it's an office job. How exciting can it get? By the time your day ended, the rain was pouring and you couldn't wait to get home.
You sat outside and waited for sodapop for a half hour. You went back inside and called the house. Nobody answered.
"of course, nobody's home, just my luck." You muttered quietly to yourself.
So you just decided to walk home. It was only like five miles away so you could handle it. If it wasn't raining. It took you two hours to walk home because of the frequent stops to get warm. When you got home you were fuming mad and so tired. You just collapsed on the couch still soaking wet.
When you woke up the next day you were in your bed and in warm clothes.
"y/n it's morning and you have a fever. Y/n I'm sorry."
"about what?" You flipped onto your side to look at him."
"for being a jerk and not supporting you and our baby." He patted your lower abdomen.
" it's okay. But you still made me walk home and it was raining and freezing."
" I know, I'm sorry. I was with ponyboy, he's been having a hard time lately."
"y/n, I love you, and I want to be more than just your boyfriend. I want to be your husband."
"oh?" You started smiling and blushing.
" so will you marry me? I know I don't have a ring right now but we can do it publicly so I know-"
" yes soda I will marry you."
