PSA to fic readers, it is so hard to freak a fic writer out with your comments. we are just as crazy about the fic as you are.

tell me you love it. tell me it made you slam your laptop shut. tell me you brought it up at your college lecture about kink. key smash in all caps. quote the passage that made you think. i promise, we’ll love it.

we spend hours thinking about it, writing it, editing it. there is no such thing as over enthusiasm when you’re talking about our fics to us. we are sooooo weird about them, i assure you. you are just matching my freak. the freak bar is already set so high. feel no anxiety about enjoying something and letting the creator know.

This is so silly, but ...

I have a vague concept for an OUAT fic with a self insert OC who's non-binary.

They get fed up trying to explain the concept to the Story Brook characters and just start telling everyone that they traded their gender to Rumplestiltskin.

Knowing what a little agent of chaos Gold is, they decide to loop him in and show up with a bottle of vauagley mystical looking liquid in a bottle (like a glitter jar or something) and tell him to put it on a shelf in the shop with a plaque that says "Gender Fluid."

Tell me why I sent character A in my fic to kill Character B and they ended up fucking. Like character A still killed character B but they were all "I mean they are horny for me, I guess the least I could is get them off before I take them out 🤷"

Like I originally wanted character A to hold nothing but contempt for character B, but then I was like: "What If they saw the beauty in all things and people, no matter how despicable?"

Anyway, so that's why my partner had to beta read snape eating Umbrige's pussy before he stabbed her in the face 😮‍💨

I need tiktokers to understand that ao3 has been home for the freaks (affectionate) ever since the day it was created. the entire site was created because “dark and fucked up fics” were banned and removed from other platforms, so us freaks came together and created a site for other freaks — a site where nothing is censored, a site with no algorithm, no capitalism, no ads, and again, absolutely no censorship.

this has been our house for decades. you newbies don’t come into our house and tell us how to arrange our furniture. either be nice and respect our house, or leave and build your own house elsewhere.

The Plot for the day is...

Jack Plot 013: Alt Chase Collects Jacks

Chase has had about enough out of Jack Spicer and is ready to do SOMETHING! He's not entirely sure what yet, but definitely something! As much as he hates to admit it if only to himself, he's not sure if he wants to kill the genius or take him to bed and do salacious acts with him.

What Chase wasn't expecting was for his next interaction with Spicer to be interrupted by none other than… himself? He instantly thinks Bean and the Moby Morpher, but no, this Chase is as much Chase as he is.

Jack's really caught off guard, and even more so when the other Chase starts being nice and flirting with him! Chase would give a possessive growl but the doppelganger ignores him and whisks Jack away. WTF?!

Chase ends up having to defend his right to Jack against a version of himself from an alternate universe who's discovered the infinite uses of Jack Spicer, and has been hopping dimensions and universes snagging every incarnation of Jack Spicer he can to add to his private harem/army of Spicer.

Alternately: The AU Chase has lost HIS Spicer and has used wu magic to get into an alternate dimension to claim a new one. Likely has been through a few and moved on cause OTHER universes versions of Chase and Jack were already a thing and battle with himself would be a painful stalemate. Plus, he doesn't want a Jack that thinks of a different Chase, he wants one to think of HIM.

Listen and sometimes? To enjoy running through a beautiful field of grass and flowers (ao3) you have to tolerate the fact that bugs (fics you don’t like) are there and maybe you will even encounter one, but you can use bugspray (filtered tags) to reduce the likelihood of that. Because the alternative is not getting to experience the beautiful field of grass and flowers.
