Making coffee at home is so great because sometimes it tastes like gorgeous actual coffee youd get for $12 & other times it tastes like ashtray water and you never know what youre doing different to make it so

The biggest lie I ever believed about myself FOR YEARS is that I'm low-maintenance. I was proud of that, even! Now that I know I'm disabled and enjoy connecting with others and recognize our interdependence, I try to enjoy needing other people and needing rest and care! As scary as it is to need things you are not very likely to get, you gotta ask! You gotta listen to what your body and spirit need! (This is a reminder to myself.)
