this post serves as a rant as well, like damn is Shifty hard to color 😭 I already had a vision for her in mind (mainly just being ocean-themed due to her ebb and flow shit), but I can't for the life of me execute it well, so just kinda half-assed it with all the colors *oohhhh hypnotizes you with pretty colors 🌀

But in all honesty, I didn't think that searching Shifty for inspo would send me into a rabbit hole, like did y'all know how many people DESPISE her on reddit?? 😭 mainly the argument being is that she is arrogant and that she took their fav vessels away. I get it but still was surprised at how many people actually hated (not just dislike) MOTHER 😞💔

I've worked too long on this so huzzah the waterwheel cabin.

Slate sleeps here when they're not at their workshop and Esker does when they're not on the moon. Marl also lives here sometimes. Wrench is Slate's and Esker's super important comfort plush that deserves more bed space than any Hearthian.

With probably 40+ hours poured into this project, I present the most completed choice tree (to my knowledge) based upon the Pristine Cut! Now including as many edge case/Specific scenarios I know of.

I hardly post here, but I'm really proud of this so I thought I'd share it. The original one I used for inspo/reference is made by Stafilo on reddit.

Well, I'm a little nervous...

this dilemma had me devastated. when I first played through, I was so conflicted on how to get involved and what on Earth was happening that I ran out of time. Since then I've replayed over and over again and found some pretty terrible outcomes (wouldn't have it any other way). there are so many moving parts and people to consider, and in the middle of everything is poor Bo.

I can only hope I did it some justice with this. I may do a larger & more detailed version in a while. I'm very happy with the composition but not the poses.

My Outer Wilds OCs! Art done by Yvsute (https://x.com/Ot_yvsute). Koppie isn't the Hatching, they're their own Hearthian. They're big into engineering and designed their own ship, which exploded more times during construction than any of Slate's designs. They eat way too much but luckily their lifestyle of charging around looking for danger to be in keeps them fit. They are interested in Nomai architecture and how they adapted to the different planets and have attempted to construct a small shack with Nomai inspiration on Brittle Hollow. So far it has caught fire three times, which is astounding as no flammable material was used when they built it. Athanaer is one of the Owlks who chases you in the simulation. He's just as much of a bastard as the rest of them, going all ''Get his ass'' mode when the Prisoner did their thing and since then spending a lot of time moping around reminiscing. He is also a smug bastard who thrives on pettiness (definitely a member of the Stranger's HOA) but this stems from the fact he is secretly kind of a freak who loathes how boring and repetitive the years aboard the Simulation have been and desperately craves something new.
