It's been a while so I figured I'd make a new pinned post!
Hi, I'm Mist! This is a sideblog for my outer wilds stuff. I'm an artist and writer and I have a merch shop!
My favorite characters are the founders (especially Feldspar and Gossan) and my favorite ship is Gosspar but I like pretty much all other ships too lol

Every year on the day Feldspar disappeared, Kite waits until the Crater village is asleep and climbs to the highest ridge where they light a flare in Feldspar's honor. They haven't stopped hoping that maybe it will help guide them home one day 🎇

"I didn't steal anything!" They weren't a thief! They weren't! "I found it! That's-"
"And you expect me to believe you were simply holding on to it for safe keeping? Do you want to know what I think you were planning to do with it?" Those blue eyes burned right into Reg's own, "I think you had every intention of selling it for the money. You would have gladly savoured the spoils of someone else's loss to further your own selfish agenda."

Before they could stop themself, the sentinel looked away.
They weren't… they…

The burn in their cheeks increased twofold, and now Reg couldn't even think of a retort to that.
Gabbro sighed.
"And here I've been giving you the benefit of the doubt in the hopes that perhaps you would extend the same kindness to me. I suppose I've learned my lesson," the dragon withdrew until they were standing apart, "The deal is off. If we can't work together with even a meagre attempt at civility, then I would prefer to cut my losses here and now."
Reg's head shot up.
"You can't-"
"I would much rather maintain what is left of my dignity than continue to be subjected to your bigotry. I've made peace with the fact that my watch– which restoration was the sole purpose of my letting you remain here, I will reiterate– shall remain broken," the dragon shrugged, "Besides, I have serious reservations that you even have the necessary skills to fix it."
…
…The… necessary… skills..?
Reg felt their eyes widen, their nostrils flare, their jaw pull tight.
Oh, they hadn't just…
"Fine," they hissed at the ground before lifting their gaze to glare at the dragon, "You know what? Call me a thief if you want. I don't care," they'd been called worse things after all, "but don't question my abilities." Against their better (or any) judgement, the sentinel stepped right up into Gabbro's space and stared them up as if staring them down, "And even if I did have your stupid watch, it gave you no right to take me against my will."
Gabbro's eyes narrowed further, their pupils flickering between razors and wide disks in a way that would have been captivating in its alienness if it weren't for the situation at hand.
"I had my reasons-"
"And I have mine!" And they weren't going to let Gabbro haggle or argue their way around it....
I love the Universe.
I love it in the final moment before I completely sink into the sand.
I love it with every broken bone beneath the wreckage of the ship.
I love it with flowers tearing my body apart.
And now, there are only a few moments left.
A few moments before your death.

I really wanted to try drawing something dark, and I think it turned out pretty well :3 Also, the concept of unrequited love for the Universe combined with hanahaki sounded so interesting, so I just had to visualize it:3

Even if they knew each other since they were tadpoles, they became friends after the "cookie incident". (see the following comic)
And then they became besties.
BTW thank you sooo much for asking me stuff about these two, it made me very happy!!
Also to answer the second question :
Breccia likes Phos' caring attitude (especially when the later seems to worry about them) and nerdy personality.
Phos likes when Breccia takes their defense when someone says or do something unfair to them (Phos thinks they should speak up for themselves instead of relying on Breccia, but it's too difficult for the moment).
And another revenge! This time featuring @craniumknight's Skarn on an informative poster. I'm not sure why, I just wanted to make a little sign for them, like the ones you see at the park reminding you to pick up your litter, hehe! I got a little silly with it, ehe.
