Vikings Characters Modern/Crime AU Aesthetics/Moodbiards (½)
So obviously, this is an AU. Inspired by the occasional ask and such @loveviera gets about modern au/mob au with the Vikings. Also I can never resist modern AUs. So I decided to do some mood boards/aesthetics and random headcanons, because why not? Enjoy!
Kattegat Incorporated: Multi-billion dollar company founded by the Lothbrok brothers, Ragnar and Rollo. Specializes in a number of different things, but truly is just a front for the Lothbrok family’s true jobs as a Mob/Mafia family. No one dares fuck with a member of the Lothbrok clan or their trusted friends without risking never being heard from again.
Ragnar: The boss, head of the entire company and of the Lothbrok family. Has quite the bloody past and doesn’t care if everyone knows it. Technically took the idea of Kattegat Incorporated from a rival mob. Gives out the orders for everything.
Lagertha: Ragnar’s ex-wife (but still in a relationship with him and Aslaug). Ragnar’s right hand and in charge of protection of the family. (The security is known as her sheildmaidens). She also helps Ragnar in giving out orders and commands.
Aslaug: Wife of Ragnar, doesn’t look all that intimidating but she’s the one that keeps the media payed off and keeps Kattegat Incorporated in the good graces of the public. She outfits and styles essentially the entire family (they wouldn’t look nearly as good without her).
Floki: Best friend of Ragnar, happily married to his sweet wife Helga. Might be a bit crazy, in charge of the family and company travel, making sure shipments get where they need to go and things get disposed of properly. Is the first to know if someone tries to back out of or double cross during a trade or shipment.
Rollo: Right under Ragnar as boss, to get to Ragnar, you have to go through Rollo. Deals in the messy parts of the company and family and some foreign affairs (with the help of his wife). On occasion is jealous that Ragnar is the head of the company but deals with it.
Bjorn: Ragnar and Lagertha’s only son, commonly one of the family members that’s in the spotlight the most (for good reasons). Is his mother’s second in command, usually he’s in charge of making sure all their little soldiers do as needed. A bit of a beserker should the occasion call for it.
Ubbe: Eldest of Aslaug’s sons, usually is the one keeping the rest of his brothers in line and keeping them from exposing the family’s crime ring or killing each other. Good with handling treaties and agreements and making sure communication flows.
Hvitserk: Like his younger brother, he isn’t afraid of getting his hands dirty and helps with that aspect of the business. A bit of a seducer and uses that to his advantage in many instances. Helps his brothers with anything happening in the family.
Sigurd: Usually works with one or more of his brothers, helping things go along smoothly. Can cause a distraction or easily break someone’s hand and start a fight if needed. Helps in making alliances. Commonly seen with some sort musical instrument.
Ivar: The youngest of Aslaug’s sons and quite passionate about the family “business”. More than happy to get his hands dirty and is the go to to send out if the family wants someone dead or to “disappear”. Finalizes and strategizes all of the families plans.
