how to extract your own line stickers
go to the line sticker store
select your sticker pack!
ex: rilakkuma’s lazy life
look at the url.
ex: https://store.line.me/stickershop/product/2938/en
select the 3 to 7 digit that comes after product/ and before /en
ex: 2938
is it a static (non-moving) sticker pack?
copy-paste this into a new tab:
http://dl.stickershop.line.naver.jp/products/0/0/1/3333/iphone/[email protected]
replace the 3333 with the sticker pack’s code
ex: 2938 → http://dl.stickershop.line.naver.jp/products/0/0/1/2938/iphone/[email protected]
it should download in a zip file. extract it’s contents. you can delete the files with the word “key” in them as they’re smaller sized. and then you’re done!
is it an animated sticker pack?
ex: rilakkuma~korilakkuma with a new friend~
https://store.line.me/stickershop/product/6044/en
code: 6044
copy-paste this into a new tab:
http://dl.stickershop.line.naver.jp/products/0/0/1/4324/iphone/[email protected]
replace the 4324 with the sticker pack’s code
ex: 6044 → http://dl.stickershop.line.naver.jp/products/0/0/1/6044/iphone/[email protected]
it should download in a zip file. extract it into a new folder.
the first folder should have the static files. there should be another folder within it named “animation@2x”, which contains .apng files. .apng files are not widely supported so you will have to convert them into .gif files to use on the web/your phone/etc.
personally, people have suggested to use animizer, however i feel that it takes too long just for one file.
how to use animizer?:
select and upload an .apng file from the “animation@2x” folder to animizer and click “continue to editor”,
select “gif” for image type. click “advanced settings” and select “yes” for keep all proportions. select the gray and white checkerboard box above your gif on the right hand side for your gif to come out transparent. click “generate animation”,
is your gif too small?:
animizer automatically downsizes your .apng/.gif on default, so you could check your .apng’s file properties by right-clicking the file and clicking “properties” in your file explorer. go to the details tab and see the image dimensions. it should be a length x width number.
ex: 356 x 248
change the image size on animizer to whatever the original file’s size is. click “generate animation”.
click download (DO NOT select any of the extra download options) and you’re done.
i use apng2gif, a free program. download and extract the app inside.
how to use apng2gif:
input file: select an .apng file you want to convert. click “convert”.
you could use this online converter, ezgif. it’s the same as apng2gif.
my files are coming out blue!!! what happened?
