Where do you live that you donโt have dandelions?
we have dandelions EVERYWHERE, they are basically our State Weed, it is absolutely impossible that my mom has never interacted with a dandelion before, this requires further investigation
So after extensive interrogation I have an update:
my mom is in fact aware that dandelions exist. she temporarily forgot the name and there was some miscommunication.
the truth is actually weirder
sheโs aware dandelions look like this
she is familiar with this flower. she knows the name of this flower. she declines to believe, however, that these are also dandelions
she does not believe these are the same plant. I tried to explain, and she thought I was either misinformed or lying. so I asked her what exactly did she think the yellow ones were called?
she answered, with complete confidence: Daffodils.

imo thereโs correct identifications of dandelions, daffodils, easter lilies and marigolds in this thread, but buttercups are simply impossible to agree on and the only solution is for everyone to post pictures of their local buttercups

if youโve never heard of it, itโs like a pokedex for real life. each of those green markers is someoneโs observation. You donโt even need to take pictures of โcoolโ organisms, you can take a picture of that spider in your bathroom, that little brown moth on your front door, that bird on your neighborโs fence, and the flowers no one can agree on the name of, and if you upload them to iNaturalist other people can help identify them for you. You can also obscure the precise location of your observation so you donโt doxx yourself.

Strange dream I had where a Mii just showed up on my island and he was like.. fatter than the others and he had a first and last name. When I looked it up in my dream it was a man who was being investigated because his wife went missing and apparently he had gained a bunch of weight after his wife went missing to they were like โdid you fucking eat her??โ And he just would not confess. Turns out he was shoving parts of her up his ass and he got away with it?? No clue how this translated into Tomodachi life but it did and it creeped me out. I donโt even remember his name but I remember inside my dream (after looking him up) going on tumblr and searching his name and apparently a LOT of other people were talking about how they had dreams of this Mii and how he showed up on their islands randomly.
I think Iโm gonna start posting my dreams more this is fun

SCAM ALERT!!! YOO!! First scam account messaging me!! I almost fell for it till I saw how weird the wording is and how much money?? Someone stole?? From you on TUMBLR? Yeah.. okay man.. You reported my account because someone else stole money from you and my ORIGINAL photo I took as my pfp didnโt raise any alarms that Iโm the wrong guy.. same name and everything?? I must have a twin!! This same type scam has been happening on Twitter, Reddit and discord for a while now, where they tell you that they accidentally reported your account for scam and theyโll โhelp youโ recover it, eventually giving them access to your account. Rant! I feel really bad when people recommend me movies and or tv shows and I just.. canโt watch them. It takes me a WHILE to hype myself up to watch anything. HELL I havenโt even watched Venom 3 and Fnaf 2 yet and Iโve hyperfixated on BOTH of those franchises. My friend is like โyou should watch interview with a vampireโ and then they get mad at me if I donโt watch it! Iโm sorry! I just finished something I planned to watch five years ago! I donโt know if this is a universal experience or if this is just my freaky autism but itโs why I just watch the same YouTube videos when I find good ones :P I HATE watching movies cause itโs like.. why do I have to sit still the whole time and my friends and family hate watching them with me because I geek out during parts I actually like and then I get called annoying. Do NOT spring on me that weโre watching a movie while Iโm at ur house ESPECIALLY if I canโt pick it we WILL fight.
