Many things happen with this declaration. Shields of power pop up in many key places. Shields over downed heroes and trapped civilians in the battle area.
Back in Gotham, a shield appears around Wayne manor and the clock tower.
The Watchtower satellite station suddenly has a second shield around it.
The house of mystery is sent into the realms which have been locked down.
And in another dimension far far away Jazmine Nightingale is surrounded by a shield and bursts into tears. Because it means that her little brother is alive. More than that it means that he still loves her and wants her safe while he does something dangerous. Even after their parents betrayal. After losing his friends and nearly fading out of existence.

It always kind of bothers me when people say that they like Bad Fenton Parents because 'it's just angstier.' There are flavors of angst, you know? Betrayal and grief and false hope and distrust and even recovery are all different flavors of angst, completely divorced from the intensity of it.
Like, I'm sorry, is it... not angst for Danny to spend fourteen years completely certain of his parents' unconditional love, only to have it cut out from under him the moment he becomes a half-ghost, leaving him floundering?
Is it not angst for Danny to grapple desperately with the knowledge that his parents love him to the ends of the universe and the certainty that his parents hate him with cruelty he didn't previously know they were capable of, and have no idea which one outweighs the other? For him to put up with their hatred because he's so afraid of losing their love?
Is it not angsty enough for his parents to find out who he is, and instantly be crushed under the realization that they have hurt their beloved son in ways they can never make up to him? Don't you want them to cry and sob with the knowledge, have nightmares about murdering their youngest child that make them wake up screaming?
Don't get me wrong - if you like what him being neglected from childhood brings to the table, I totally get that! If you like for him to have specific trauma around being ignored, and a closer relationship with Jazz, and an incomplete childhood, that's great. Have at it.
But don't 'teehee I guess I'm just a sadist' it because you are blocking off literally sooo much nuance
Yes this is actually an amazing insight into Maddie’s personality. A well-respected scientist famous for some of her inventions, while Jack is only “brilliant but bumbling”? That’s a game changer. (Also this is a great reference sheet for character heights. The Trio are all short.)
They’re all 14. I’m all for itty bitty Danny but imagine a moment where Danny shoots up to his dads height over summer break and managed to get taller than Dash.
I think about this art sometimes and I just love the idea that orientation in the ghost zone is whatever. Danny walks into the portal and comes into the ghost zone like he’s plunging into the depths
So I’ve been binging a bunch of DPxDC crossover fics cause they’re hella fun. And I wanted to make some fanart for a handful of the fics I’ve been reading just to show how vastly different Danny gets portrayed. It’s really fun!! I love when ppl make Danny get Jack’s tall ass gene’s, but it’s also funny to see him as a scrawny lil guy. He’s a pretty moldable character

Damian: Ugh. Good afternoon, man who warms my father's bed.
Bruce: Damian!
Danny: Hi Damian.
Damian: Will you be wasting your time here once again?
Danny: Oh no, I actually came to warn Bruce I might not be around as much for a few weeks.
Damian: Oh? And who must I thank for this joyous event?
Danny: Well, last night a stray dog got into my shed and gave birth to 13 puppies. I moved them all into the spare bathroom and I'm going to be looking after them until they're ready to go to new homes.
Damian: Puppies?
Danny: Yeah! The vet said mama was probably a Bloodhound mixed with some sorta Mastiff, and who knows about the puppies. Would you like to see some pictures?
Damian: *nods and excitedly sits down between Danny and Bruce, looking at all the puppy photos* You-You will have your hands full when they're bigger.
Danny: Don't I know it. Hey, you wouldn't be interested in helping would you?
Damian: Really? *trying so hard not to look excited*
Danny: Really! I mean, right now Mama is doing most of the work, but eventually the pups are gonna need socialized, and desensitized, not to mention I'm gonna need a puppy sitter so I can work with Mama without having to worry. But, I know you're a busy kid, so don't feel pressured, okay?
Damian: Well, school will be out in two weeks, I won't be too busy so, so I want to help, with the puppies. Please.
Danny: Great! It'll be so great to have help, thanks kiddo! I've been looking forward to hanging out with you anyway. *softly ruffles Damian's hair*
Damian: You have?
Danny: Yeah! I get along with your siblings but I wasn't sure if we had anything in common, but I'm glad we can geek out over dogs together!
Damian, thoughtfully: Oh.

Daminan: Father! Is Daniel here yet?
Bruce: Not yet chum, the traffic is really bad.
Damian: Tsk. *walks back up the stairs pouting*
Bruce: *chuckles*
Alfred: I must say Master Bruce, you look like cat who got the cream.
Bruce: Damian adores Danny now, not just about the puppies. Its like the moment that inital connection was made, a whole door opens. Have you seen how they interact? How open Damian has become with Danny? Those breathing exercises he now does, are because Danny recommended them. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Damian loved Danny more as a father than me.
Alfred: You seem rather happy with that.
Bruce: Maybe I should be jealous, but mostly I'm just glad he has someone to connect to. And Danny adores that kid, all my kids, and you. He respects you a lot. I'm just happy he loves my family as much as I do.
Alfred: You deserve that happiness Master Bruce, more than anything. *squeezes his shoulder* You also deserve the begging you're going to get once those puppies are 12 weeks old and ready to be adopted. Damian already has a favorite, her name is Tullia.
Bruce, chuckling: Oh I am well aware, Danny has been dropping hints about her being a nice birthday gift.
