when you haven’t worn foundation since high school...

I stopped wearing a full face of makeup after high school. My college budget didn’t support it, and it ruined my skin. I’ve always had sensitive skin, and acne prone skin, which caused me to wear the makeup to cover it up. It took more than not wearing makeup for my face to clear up, but I recently received a voxbox with the maybelline better skin challenge foundation, and I’ve been using it for three weeks now! and my skin is better than ever. It hasn’t shown signs of breakouts, and it’s been a nice light feeling on my face, which has been perfect for the hot humid weather we’ve been having. 

This stuff may have changed my opinion on wearing foundation!

Haircare for Blondes

So I’m not nearly as blonde as I used to be, but I do get my hair dyed a bit lighter than my original color, and it tends to get brassy. I was sent a line of haircare products for blondes from the brand, Dessange. It was a shampoo, conditioner, and a toner. I’ve used it a couple times, and I really like it. They seem very nurturing for my hair. My hair is a lot softer afterwards, and the shampoo and conditioner alone don’t really fix the brassiness in my hair, but the toner works wonders. You also don’t have to use a lot of product. I have pretty short hair though, a shoulder length bob. The only problem I had with the line was the scent. It was a little too strong and a little too grandma smelling for me, and I’m not a grandma yet. I’m not even a mom haha. But I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
