“it’s alright,” his voice carries the airy cadence of a laugh, his arm hooks around your shoulders securely and you mindlessly fasten yours to his back, as he turns to face the party with you, his hand brushing up and down your upper arm to soothe, “we got the cake, no need to worry. teddy’ll bring it in now.”

It all started when Bobby took you home to Hyannis Port during the summer to meet his family. You were absolutely nervous, your hands were sweating and your brows furrowed with anxiety at the thought of you saying something wrong and immediately becoming enemy #1 of the Kennedy family. The two of them have a habit of calling you by a shortened version of your name. Similar to the way that Jack would call his sister Rosemary, Rosie.
As I mentioned in my first post, you expected Jackie to be infuriated with the wandering pair of eyes and hands that Jack had when it came to you, but you couldn't be more surprised when she didn't seem to mind. If anything, the both of them are just as touchy. The only difference is that Jackie's affection can be deemed as friendly by the people around you.

They're constantly inviting you to accompany them on trips/European getaways. a/n: this is my first time writing a full on fic (??) but I wanted to try something new so here you go 🐇💌. This is a bit messy but I needed to get this out of my drafts!
you met the two of them at a gala. The table you were seated at was within the immediate vicinity as the accomplished couple. An unlikely friendship bloomed and as much as you were grateful for the lovely connection, you were just as puzzled. You’d never befriended a married couple before but that wasn’t a reason to opt out of the friendship that was already going so smoothly. Obviously you were attracted to the both of them, it almost irritated you just how perfectly they fit each other. They almost made you believe that the myth about Zeus and his disdain for lovers was true, they were truly each other’s other half.
However, you would’ve never expected for your little crush to be reciprocated by them. Jack had a habit of pursuing all types of women behind Jackie’s back. He would’ve never expected for the two of them to become attracted to the same person. A woman at that. It was quite a surprise to Jackie as well, but she wasted no time in sharing her desires to Jack. She knew what she wanted and she knew her husband. She knew when he’d taken a liking to someone.
“You want her too, don’t you?”
It started out small. They’d invite you to their most intimate of dinners where it’d only be the three of you dining together. during your stay at their estate in Hyannis Port, they’d always find themselves making a pilgrimage to your bedroom. They’d share a glass of wine as the fireplace crackled, the both of them asking what your favorite part of the day was, Jackie telling her husband about what the two of you did while out on the island, Jack asking you, “aren’t you glad you came along, sweetheart?” with a small smile on his face.
The conversation would continue long into the night, the mood quickly shifting once their wine glasses emptied. You knew something was coming with the way they seemed to silently speak to one another solely using their eyes, small smirks painted onto their faces. Jack swiftly made his way towards you, who was sitting on the very edge of the bed. He took the time to brush stray hairs out of your face before delicately cupping your cheeks, unleashing a tender smile once you allowed yourself to look him in the eyes. “Lemme get a good look a’cha.” Jackie quickly took her place beside you on the bed, making herself comfortable as she placed your hands in her lap, eyeing Jack as he stood in front of you.
