Smart Car Canada  asked us what will transportation of the future cities look like. Here is our response!

There are over 300,000 homeless persons throughout Canada. Yet they are largely invisible to most people. They are the homeless, often marginalized, misunderstood, ignored, shunned and stigmatized. They live among us yet largely live in isolation from society, often in the most desperate of situations. Their reasons for living on the streets are as individual as they are.

Our task was to initiate a shift in the perception amongst the citizens in the Greater Toronto Area with respect to the plight of the homeless. The shift is intended to result in actions that challenge the status quo and change the lives of the homeless.

Trend analysis begins with a mapping of all current events and issues. The area of interest, Big Data, applied as a filter to the map. Next stage is to cross-pollinate as many points as possible and speculate about  possible outcomes. Once cross-pollination is done and strongest concepts are chosen, you can write scenarios of the future products and services.
