Lucien let out a long groan of exhaustion once the call was finally over. He tossed the phone onto an already cluttered coffee table in front of him, then slumped back into his armchair.
Staring up at the dimly lit ceiling he took a moment to process another scolding from his mother, about how his career as an MC is ridiculous. That he needs a ‘proper job’ or how he should ‘be more like Ungolim.’
Despite being belittled and compared to his brother throughout the whole call at least she took the effort to ring him for a change. Most of the time she’d simply pass the messages through her ‘precious little Ungolim.’
Leaning forward again he scrambled amongst the clutter on his table to find his rolling tin and lighter.
“It could have been worse, it could have been Father who called,” he thought to himself, an attempt at trying to make light of the situation.
He dreaded Fathers calls, Lucien had come to the conclusion that man had a void where his heart should be.
He finished rolling his cigarette and took a second to admire his handywork, before slipping it behind his ear. “Well, I had better stop moping around and go enjoy my Fredas night.” He relished the thought of the weekend being here.
With that he slang himself from the chair, scuffling amongst the table again grabbing his phone and the keys to Shadow Motor, his beloved car. He stuffed them both into his sling bag and headed out the door.

For Dakotta and Teldryn, I chose their birth signs (from my headcount, of course), but I decided that they would switch places. Dakotta was born under the sign of Atronach, but she really wanted to wear armor (or something similar, in a lighter way) at least once🌸🤲😮💨 Well, Teldryn just had to agree and give her his warrior sign.🗡️
When there's a gala there's celebrities, and Faenil is there too. The tall sparkly mage is certainly a sight to behold... and smell. Luckily Faenil arrived fashionably late, because nobody's brave enough to tell them the smoke is giving everyone a headache - they're too busy lamenting about the "baby mammoth ivory" cigarette holder turning out to be too small!
Drawing this was a bit of a last minute decision, but I really wanted to join the @tes-gala despite everything so I drew Faenil as The Mage. I'm exploring more of a comic-book feel since I've been thinking about the webcomic fic a lot again lately, and I do like this end result... I spent most of my time figuring out the outfit though, Faenil needs to be slaying as always. My subtle idea with the jewelry was that they're wearing soul gem shards.
Sarvys the Nerevarine decided to represent the Atronach at this year’s @tes-gala event! His attire was specifically inspired by the flame atronachs he encountered while travelling through Skyrim in the fourth era
His tailor also wanted me to inform you that this outfit is a bit on the hotter side, so guests without any means of fire resistance are asked to keep their distances, unless they wish to become a grilled meal, of course

⚪️ Announcing the Elder Scrolls Season Unending Fest! 🔴
Starting on June 1st 2026, a new prompt will be posted to this blog at the beginning of every month (12am PST, if you're curious). What do you do with it? Well, that's up to you! Do you want to draw your OC? Write a fic? Make a moodboard? A meme? The sky is the limit.
This fest will run in perpetuity. There are no sign ups or deadlines. Older prompts will remain fair game.

For the theme I picked the shadow. In my head cannon Lucien is born under the shadow as well as Elyonne.
Elyonne like Lucien does have stars in the shape of the constellation going across her body but you can't see them from this angle.
I wanted to incorporate the shrouded armour and black hand robes into these outfit so for the shrouded armour I used the purple that the female one has. Then I took the blood stained look the original black hand robes have for Lucien's outfit. I had to pop in some handprints of course. The gold crest is a gold version of the speaker symbol.
I tried to put Lucien's hood up but I hate drawing his hood and I kept failing so I gave up for my own sanity.

Prior Relationship Experience: Lucien's never really had any genuine relationship experience, and was quite content with it for the longest time. He knows how to navigate one, but only in a curated way - long ploys to get to his targets. A similar case for physical encounters: he's too aware of his charisma and looks to not wield it as a tool when deemed most efficient, but it isn't his preferred method.
In Antoinetta's case, her caged life before the Brotherhood didn't give her much time at all to think of relationships. Her trauma from the Imperial Prison sullied her view on it until Lucien and his subsequent aid in working through that trauma.
Platonic vs Physical: Their relationship mutually prioritizes more emotional and murder cult spiritual connection over physical. Of course Antoinetta thinks he's hot, duh, she's the OG Lucien fan! But it isn't the primary thing that alludes her to him.
Lucien? He's always simply named whatever he's got going on as "vows of chastity" lol The act does nothing for him, really, but Antoinetta is his best friend and whenever they do get down to it he's happy enough to do what would please her. Which creates a weird fluctuation on the domineering/submissive scale. Technically he makes himself at her command, and yet she usually plays the role of the meeker one? In a non-bedroom context he is the more imperious one in general. As Speaker and all, and she, a loyal Slayer.
Love Language/PDA: Despite everyone in the Sanctuary knowing what's going on, Lucien and Antoinetta don't flaunt themselves, both out of personal preference and avoiding any conflict of professional interest (again, a Speaker and a Slayer). If they were in a situation like, acting in a noble's banquet for a contract, Antoinetta would definitely ham it up and let it be known that that is her man. Lucien is fine with it in moderation.
Also, despite being a Speaker, Lucien is... not good at explicitly stating how much he cares about Antoinetta. Man is not able to say 'I love you' until it's too late. It's one of the things that bumps the mutual understanding down; Antoinetta can get worried about whether the feelings are reciprocated, when a man so good with his words can't find the words to say it. Antoinetta can go either way with affection. She is awkward as hell at first, though, because she placed Lucien up on a grand pedestal in her mind and never thought he would entertain her pining.
Jealousy: Antoinetta, knowing the charm Lucien has, can get jealous, but it's more of a quiet, self-deprecating jealousy. It circles back to her insecurities from the above subject.
Lucien? He's comfortable in the knowledge that Antoinetta is head over heels for him. He doesn't worry about wandering eyes from her. But on certain occasions that others try to woo her... the results are brutal. Antoinetta doesn't purposefully egg on such behavior but she finds the violent sentiment hot lol
Honesty, Apologies & Forgiveness: The Purification largely factors into these three scales, as it's Lucienetta's largest and most significant conflict. While Antoinetta does know things about Lucien's past he's shared with no one else, he maintains professional secrecy about Black Hand business - which includes the suspicions of betrayal towards the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. His trust in her and their relationship deteriorates towards the end due to this.
Children: Both of them don't have a particularly strong desire to have a kid; Lucien is up there in age, and they know their assassin work affords them little time for them together on their own, let alone with a child.
Vera is, predictably, an oopsie from when they made up post-Purification in my Dark Prodigy AU.
Which leads into their parenting skills, using Vera as an example... well. It's a slippery slope that brings to question: where does the influence of the Dark Brotherhood begin in their raising of their child, and how much does one blame the parents when all parties involved are acting based on doctrine? Lucien and Antoinetta were good parents in terms of fundamental care, but it's trapped within the framework of essentially raising a weapon to continue their legacy in a murder cult. Were they stripped of all influence from the Brotherhood, would they be great parents?... Yet what would they even look like, as individuals, if removed from the Brotherhood?
Breakup: The fractures that the looming Purification create lead to Lucien rejecting Antoinetta and calling their relationship off the night before everyone in the Sanctuary is exterminated.
Neither of them survive the break up - because they both fucking die! Antoinetta accidentally eats a poisoned apple, and Lucien goes through a post-Purification crashout arc, mad at the fact that he does actually have feelings, before his brutal death we all know and love : )
Buuut that's just the 'canon' timeline. In my AU they're happily married with a kid who may hate the Brotherhood and be cavorting with the Dark Brotherhood's traitor behind their back
